Another price drop. Assuming this won't do too well. Yes it probably should be a pack-in but it's not and it's a good way to test out the new features of the joy-cons.
Throw an impromptu party anywhere with anyone thanks to a new play style in which players look at each other-not the screen! Bring the action and fun into the real world as you face off in wild-west duels, cow-milking competitions, a copycat dance-off, and more.
Face-to-Face Play – look at your friends rather than the screen as you compete in a new style of video game party full of fast and fun face-to-face game
Stare down your opponent in a wild-west duel, mimic your opponent’s poses in a copycat dance-off, or rally for victory in a heated table tennis face-off
Anywhere with anyone – bring fun and surprise to barbecues, house parties or other event
Intuitive and simple controls using Joy-Con features

Yeh that's right, gimmick. After all, what ever happened to the other things nintendo introduced to a major platform, analog control for example. Or rumble packs. What about 3D platforming? Who these days plays games with a touch screen like the ds? What about the super high tech motion games Sony and Microsoft introduced what were 10x the tech spec but 0.1x the fun of the Wii.
Who in their right mind would want to play with more than themselves in their room? Who needs friends?

Thanks for pointing that out. I have went ahead and preordered the pro.
Good price on the game too op. I wasn't going to buy it as it was too pricey but have went ahead and ordered with Amazon due to the £10 voucher offer on today.

Same here. A lot of people hated the themed PDP pads on Wii U as they were branded as cheap and flimsly. Some who dismissed them, didn't even try them as could not see past their pro controllers. I got 4 to match my 4 themed remotes, and personally think (a) They look amazing, (b) Never had problems with them.
I intend to give the JoyCons a chance too. I think they look good and suspect they should be fine for a lot of the games and general use, and I will buy alternative controllers if I feel any worthwhile game needs more.

Nintendo are so much greedier than when the Wii first came out.. This game is worth about £10 max and should have been bundled with the console.

The best I've seen. And I'm searching for Switch daily. It could probably go as a deal but it would no doubt go cold. Myself I'm going to try out the joy-con controller first. As if it's fine if rather get another pair rather than one controller

I remember when Nintendo lead the way in creativity & innovation. Skip to 2017 where we are expected to pay £30+ to hold a control pad while pretending to be either a cowboy or milk farmers. Jeez. Clearly someone missed the memo regarding VR.
I hope for the sake of competition within the industry, that Nintendo can get back on track with what is most important. Good First party titles (that people actually want) and decent 3rd party support.
Please Nintendo...we're pulling for you.

There is way more to other consoles than CoD or Fifa...especially with Sony. I liked CoD until the modern warfare stuff, but certainly like creativity and imagination in games.... I do love platform games, and Nintendo most certainly know how to make good ones.
I have also loved franchises with Uncharted, The Last Of Us, Ratchet & Clank, Little Big Planet, Tearaway, Resistance, God Of War, the new Tomb Raider reboot, countless indie games including the wonderful platformer in "Unravel" which is simply glorious and a title that I could totally see with Nintendo, the game has heart, lots of it. The developer was open to a port, not sure the 'Switch' could handle it though.
I have never been a one console a generation person though, Nintendo have always supplemented my gaming, with their lack of third party support I would never have wanted to be reliant solely on Nintendo.

There are two categories of games. Nintendo and Call of Duty. Elitism is a decent antidote to obscurity, I guess. We're not getting the games other consoles get? That's okay. We wouldn't want them anyway...

Really hoping this sells poorly and the price drops to 20 asap. At 20 it'll probably be worth a shot. But 35 is more like a full xbox or ps4 game. Id buy horizon over this.

COD and all that stuff is good fun to, but it is a very different kind of fun. I don't really feel I have the choice of quitting Nintendo consoles at the moment as I like the franchises and there is no alternatives to that type of gaming on other consoles. Like many I have to also consider what is best suited for kids and our family too when making a console purchase decision and all the subsequent years of investment that entails.

It would take a price drop to under £200 and it come bundled with MK8 Deluxe, Arms and Super Mario Oddysey for me to even begin considering it.
I have a feeling the Wii U and 3DS are going to be my last Nintendo consoles.

Absolute shovelware unlike Nintendoland or Wii Sports, definitely should have been included as standard.
Let's face it, how quickly are you going to tire of one of you using a joycon as a samurai and the other one clapping their hands together clasping a joycon to 'block' the attack...hours of fun :smirk:
Or....milking a cow, press SL as you move your hand in a downward motion, and squeeze the SR button to 'milk' the onscreen teat....beat your opponent by milking the most!.....hours of fun!!!! :smirk:
Guess the amount of balls hidden within an onscreen box by tilt rotating using a joycon, challenge your opponent to the correct answer which you can choose to display on screen or hide with a "?"...the fun just never stops :smirk:
One go on each of them was enough for me....cannot vouch for the rest of the shovelware that are tech demos for the awfully bad ergonomically designed joycons when used as nunchuks...you can tell by just looking at them in this image below, believe me in use they are as bad as they look.
If anyone is curious, the NFC is hidden underneath the right analogue stick, the IR motion sensor to its credit works brilliantly, and the vibration fantastic...if utilised.

Not gonna buy it at this price, as much as I really want to. It's just too expensive and the switch is full RRP right now, but overpriced and no bundle deals. I'm hoping for even a game bundle where I can save anything more than a couple of quid.
Heat added , simply because the switch deals are wanted and we all need to keep an eye out and encourage cheaper pricing.

I just hope the game bundle is a good one at Xmas time. I only want a game bundle with 1 or 2 of the must have games. The Wii U premium bundle with MK8+Splatoon was a brilliant buy for under £200. Don't think anyone will argue those were must have games.
