Predictable or not, it's worth noting because people won't know. Many Sony cameras were - presumably - recently fixed because access was invisibly open to anyone.
Security in devices like this is generally poor, semi-anonymous Chinese brand or not, and you should at least consider the possibility that your camera could be recording at any time.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!...... I waited over 2 months for an item. It never arrived and no refund despite promises to do so. Be warned!!

Always pay via PayPal, if something doesn't arrive go through PayPal resolution centre. Never any issues

I have the same experience of LITB. There are more reliable 'Far East' suppliers out there. Buyer beware.

Seconded - avoid! My 'bargain' £18 + Tax Mi Band 2 was really £32 + Tax after UPS added their 'brokerage' fee. LITB will only offer 50% refund for returned item so will be submitting Paypal claim for 'Significantly not as described' given that postal charges were stated as £0.69.

Just going to stick up for LITB - I bought something for Christmas from them it took about two weeks as stated. Dealt with customer services about postage costs and was happy with the service. Your mileage may vary.

As for Xiaomi I'm fairly sure they make many mobile phones in China and I've not heard of any of theirs catching fire, unlike a certain premium Korean brand.
Considering buying but not sure what for...

To be fair I hate Samsung products with a passion, every single one I've owned has turned out to be **** about a year after purchase. But I'd still rather have my phone blow up and kill me than have it spy on me.

I got stung too, but I had read up about possible charges, so took out the insurance LITB offer. They refunded me the £18.33 back straight away (once I'd filled in the form with photo evidence).
BTW I still think it is scandalous that UPS fees are so high, when I had no choice in the delivery method. Also really bad that the UPS delivery man had no formal receipt to give me, felt like I'd been scammed.

You got 'caught' by customs(UPS are known for these charges) hardly the fault of LITB.
