You don't have to buy it. But it offers value that justifies the price to some. It's comparable to why someone might buy a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge instead of a cheaper £100 Galaxy model. Personal preference and specs

Personally I don't have an Xbox so I'd be buying it for my PC and won't need the game. I get that you could offload the game at CEX though, but I can't be bothered

Made it worse? What I said is public knowledge. The price difference is there but some people aren't close to CEX, can't bother to go through the effort, can get the Amazon item delivered faster with prime etc. and for them this is a good deal. It's likely not as good as the £99.99 Argos one but does that make it not worth sharing?

Got this & battlefield 1 from Argos on bf1 release date for £104.99 (+£10 voucher), was going to buy game anyway so controller worked out about £50. Great controller.

I'm just not understanding how this being a money saving site and your reasons to pay more is "I can't be bothered to save money." It's your choice, but that doesn't make it an appealing deal.
Argos is click and collect, the 8 stores around me had both Forza 3 and the controller in stock for instant collection.
That beats Amazon prime for collection/delivery. Local store is open till 6pm and 2 other stores are open till 8pm. The rest I'm unsure their times.
No cex or Game around you. Ebay the game off for roughly £25+.

Collecting an item from Argos and selling something on ebay take time, for some people the amount of time it takes is simply not worth doing for maybe £20 in their pocket.

It may take a few days to sell on but it's hardly any effort is it. Stick it on gumtree and wait for a text. The only way this deal is better is if you only have £95 but then again if you spend all your money on a pad then you need your head checked. This is a great price for a quality pad, but this deal is cold due to the argos deal.
Edit: Why would anyone be on this site if they don't want to put £20 back in their pocket? People go through Quidco & TCB for pennies.

I see that you aren't one for saving money.
Buy the bundle of argos.
Go to game and price match for £20 with forza.
Go to cex and get £19 cash
Send to cex via post and get £19
Sell on eBay for around £25+ (just seen 2 copies go for £28 with £2.20 post).
None of these options above are such a hassle that I'd be like "it's just £20, I'll leave it."
But then again, for me, argos is about 9 shops away from Cex.

I'm failing to see how this deal would be a great option, considering how easy it is to get rid of Forza 3, in result makes the controller even cheaper.

To be fair I was quite dubious about this pad, but saw the argos deal a long with the 10% quidco and bought it. As I was also considering getting forza anyway. I have to say Im very pleased with it, as I mainly play battlefield it is a noticable improvement and I would say advantage over the standard pad.

I understand your thinking but there are different levels of effort for which you can save more money and some people just want to make sure they get the best price without doing much other than going on Amazon once it has dropped a bit.
Example, in ascending order of effort:
1. Someone's favourite store for electronics is CCL Computers and wants to quickly buy this product, money is not an option. Spend: £108.81
2. Someone else sets up a HUKD alert for whenever the cheapest deliver-to-door price gets a little easier for the wallet. Spend (here): £94.99
3. Someone else buys the Argos product, walk to store to collect, conveniently live near CEX and easily punt the game. Spend: £79.99
4. A final, thrifty someone buys the Argos product, list the game on Ebay, sort out delivery. Spend: £75

I wouldn't be without my Elite controller, use it on XBox and PC for FPS and racing games. Definitely more accurate and it took me a while to get used to but using the back paddles for gear changing is a huge improvement.

I have an elite controller have sence they came out, couldn't go back to a normal controller though, I wouldn't class this as a deal though because I'm pretty sure I paid this when they first came out.
From your local argos, how far away is cex? (as you stated above its your choice to not use cex so there is a local store).
Also, buying off amazon doesn't require to know or use Hotukdeals. So depletes the extra effort(same effort as #1).
Me personally, paying more for an item is actually more effort when I know I can get it for rather a lot cheaper. A quid or two off, I'd be like is it worth traveling 20minutes? nah I'll just buy it here. £15 is a noticeable amount of a saving for a game pad. I would feel better of knowing I got what I wanted at a much better price.

I got one with my elite console and I really don't see why this should cost 100. It basically feels like they weighted it down a bit and added a slightly more grippy finish to make it "feel" more premium. As far as accuracy of the analogue parts are concerned they are no more accurate and I believe use the same transducers as the original pad, the buttons are digital so aren't any better either. I haven't used any of the customisable options as I like the way the standard pad is set up. Now if I'd paid 95 quid I'd be pretty annoyed and probably tell everyone it was the best pad ever just to feel better about my expenditure as I'd be too embarrassed to admit I'd made an error in my purchase. Just my opinion as a middle age gamer. Everything to do with the feel of the controller is subjective and I appreciate that some users may find this controller worth the money, I don't.
Overpriced, **** controller. Only good for FPS but then again, if you're playing a FPS with a controller you're already a idiot so what the heck

Idiot comment. As I mentioned earlier the paddles on the back are great for racing games and gear changes, once you go manual gear change you wont go back to auto. Also the extra long sticks help the accuracy a lot. I also play fps on both pc and console, more people I know use console.
If I broke my Elite controller I would buy another one, it is way better than the standard controller.

Eh, I agree that the controller is overpriced and is something that most people wouldn't need, however there's nothing wrong with liking consoles. I have a decent PC myself, but tbh, I kind of miss when I used to play consoles. Obviously you can get generally better performance with a decent setup, but there are cons too.
Back to the controller, it's probably good, but I'm not convinced it's £95 good. But for those who really want it, go ahead.

Some great points, all the world class fps players use a keyboard mouse combo on pc. Real control, proper frame rates and a higher standard of player.

I'd warn anyone wanting to spend this kind of money. I got one with my console, and after only 3 months I had stick drift on the left thumbstick. Despite the premium features, the internal workings are made from cheap Chinese components, and the warranty on a controller is only 90 days. Don't get me wrong I loved this controller until it developed a fault, but i'd advise anyone against this kind of money for one given what i've said.

Guess, we are entitled to what a product is worth, and what we consider/willing to pay for it.
Just don`t go around patronising what others consider a bargain.
