This is better than Omron and others dua to It's 3 years warranty.
For less than £10, this is a bargain!!!

Been posted before - for better accuracy you're better off with a basic Omron (e.g. Omron Pro Logic - £15+ mymemory, amazon, etc)

Risky Toys...these are. Risky because they give you crap readings and you then start to worry if something is wrong...

I picked one up yesterday and it was inaccurate with the Omron one that I have. I'm taking it back for a refund.
Hope this helps others who are undecided. Heat anyway for the price

If you ever go to the doctors take this along with you and compare results with Drs even if it's a little bit out you'll know what the difference is for future reference

These aren't really that good compared to the upper arm cuff. If you have a potential heart problem don't rely on the readings you'll get from this, get it checked properly.

Not sure if the £7.50 one has ended now at Asda but that is how much that I paid for mine a few weeks ago. They had a huge pile of them and compared to the one in my docs surgery it is pretty damn accurate. Then again my BP always goes higher when I'm at the docs so it is useful for me to check it at home.

Really ??? Have you used one ? How is it risky if you compare it with the result at the Drs ? btw worry isn't 'risky' anyway.

Actually it is if worrying over something which has not been validated as I would not think these are, and is reading to high, can put your BP up considerably and be very risky, believe me I know from experience. I've taken my BP for 24 years as have lived with hypertension, and an inacurate monitor is worse than no monitor. Wrist monitors a notorious for giving inacurate results. Even upper arm monitors can be inacurate probably by being chucked about in transit. So I advise ALWAYS take your monitor to your Doctor and make sure it's reading within limits!

sure, I've got very high blood pressure too. not worth worrying about as I've had it for years and now my 'terminal' illness is something entirely different. I'll probably die by being hit by a bus anyway lol :smiley:
as we have both said. get the accuracy checked at the Drs.

Better off getting an Omron one for just a few pounds more,Have bought one from Lidl before and it was inaccurate.Doctors use Omron which are clinically validated.

You are right but a word of caution. I have used the Omron M2 basic for a number of years I change them every two years rather than recalibrate, but the last two - last checked today at the Doctors surgery were reading 10 and the one before 15 points too high. These were bought through Amazon so not sure what's going on as always got them thru them with no problem. My suspicion is that they're going out of calibration in transit as the M2 is clinically validated ( which Best Buy )
