Worx 400W mini circular saws in the discount section of Homebase @ Kingsgate Retail Park East Kilbride. Discontinued item and reduced nationwide but discount varies by store according to staff.
Still a few left and I know Homebase discount is based on stock level and the less they have of an item the heavier the discount, but at £20 I'd be surprised if they discounted it much further.
Great wee tool for that money.
They also had the set with this saw plus 3 blades and a carry case marked at £45 and there were loads of them.

Same in Macclesfield. The basic saw is still £39.99. I didn't try to get a discount. As it's local I may pop back in when I am next passing try my luck.

I went to Rayleigh weir homebase (where they are priced £39.99), spoke to the cs lady and guess what? I got told to **** off! ( As good as anyway)

Absolutely loads of these in Homebase in Haverfordwest. Both the saw with one blade and the box with 3 blades. All marked up at full price £39.97 for the single and £59.97 for the set. However if you go to the customer service desk they are happy to discount by 50%. I picked up the box set for £30.00, the girl at the desk couldn't work out 50% of £59.97

Adds to the excitement with Homebase as you havent a clue when you enter if they are flogging bargains or asking silly prices. Great if you are local... not so good if you have to make a special journey!

Romford Homebase had more than £300 of stock, however the store manager kindly sold me one of these for £20

Popped into Homebase Romford, they didnt have the saw for the reduced price, so i spoke to the store manager John, showed him this thread and as a gesture of goodwill, he kindly sold me the saw for £20, top bloke

It's a weird one but the fewer they have left the cheaper they are. I also picked up a 185mm Circular Saw that had a sticker price of £37 but the guy at the checkout reduced it further to £20 because it was the last one in the store!

Hot but pricing of the larger set is strangely high compared to my local stores. instead of £45 they were selling below £30 while they lasted

I'm surprised Homebase have any stock of these considering they were all reduced weeks ago. My local sold out real quickly....
