After a few discussions at work about air fryers over the last couple of years, the people who do the cooking as a bit of a hobby etc. consensus seems to be Tefal followed by Philips and no others. They suggest nobody else gets it right. Not my opinion, never had one, just what was said.

We hated the actifry, used to mash stuff up. Now use a lidl one without a paddle and quite happy with it.

You can't beat chips deep fried in oil I'm afraid. And yes I have tried the Tefal.

Ok I tried this, after 35 mins the freshly cut chips were done. Tasted more like strangely cooked oven chips than fried. Just didn't taste right to be honest. Not sure if all airfryer are the same but if this is the result, very disappointing -:disappointed:

you need to parboil them, before you wack them in the air fryer.
