I have not included Haig Club !! This is not whisky it is essentially whisky flavoured vodka. If you buy this over any of the others (even Jim Beam Apple) you need your head examined. Don't be fooled by the size of discount , Mr Beckham ,slick adverts or the fancy bottle. This is a turd of cheap grain whisky rolled in glitter.

Has anyone actually tried Haig Club or just going off the awful reviews?

I've not tried based on the negative reviews, but are these reviews based off people actually trying the whisky or just off hearsay?

I'm sure it isn't great, just interested that's all.

The last whisky that was badly received but I quite enjoyed was Dalwhinnie Winters Gold....

Fantastic description for Haig Club OP. I can agree with some degree of confidence as i was given a bottle for Xmas - a miniature fortunately.
Would also steer others away from the Auchentoshan American Oak - ​The only thing i get on the nose of this is Dreamies Cat Treats

Just to distract you two fighting and put myself into the firing line.... I'm going to defend Haig a little bit at this price :-) yes it's not perfect but I know a lot worse whiskys at this price :-) It still wouldn't be my choice even at this price point but do feel it gets a bit of unfair press due to its background. Haig clubman, is a different matter, that is rank!

I have haig club ... and I am almost finished it ... but then bought jw double black ... for £26 on here the other day .. what a stunning whisky .... haig I must admit after having the double black ..has a very medicinal taste ... or even a bit chemically.

I've been told I'm not allowed as the Mrs realised I have 36 bottles already. Spoilsport.

Never understand why people get so protective of 'their deals'? If you got commission then fair enough but it's only alerting people to a bit of a discount somewhere. People taking offence to cold votes are even stranger imo.

Bulleit is spelt wrong however so doesn't come up on the HUKD searches. If you're going to list multiple whiskies in one thread then you need to get the spelling right or searches won't pick them up.

No doesn't have a point. He posted this as bourbon hence why his title reads £12.49 which is the starting price of Jim Beam Apple which is a Bourbon if you must know. Changing the title then saying you didn't is quite pathetic. Could just say, I've change it to the Scotch whiskey deals. Liar.

You uad bourbon up and you had a picture of a bourbon Whiskey. Don't go changing it then thinking I didn't realise then try say this wasn't bourbon and don't say you didn't because you still have the starting price for the jim beam apple bourbon. You've also got all the bourbon prices in the first comment which makes it even funnier and a repost.

jw black was selling at £15 a few weeks back on amazon as my fav tipple, so tbh not so much of a deal on there
