Went to my local ASDA this evening and noticed this deal at the front of the supermarket for Walkers variety 42 pack of crisps and thought it's worth posting since it works out 9.5p per packet.

It's actually less that 10.5p as there's 42 crisp so 9.52p per pack bargain

am I being stupid?? my calculation is £4 ÷ 42 packs = 10.5p??? Is that right???
9.52p indeed, would be 38 bags to make 10.5p a pack. just makes it a bigger bargain :smiley:

Right idea but on calculator you must have typed 42 ÷ 4.00 = and so get 10.5 (10.5 packs per £1)
Need to type 400 ÷ 42 = (pence divide by packets) so get = 9.52 pence per packet.
