The ones that just hit the stores in Havant are dated 27th Dec so assuming all stock identical.......
But they are not half price tomorrow. Tomorrow is just a tasting day for these - confirmed in store by staff who showed me the flyers that went out. The half price immediately prior to this offer and right next to it on the flyer (so possibly caused a bit of confusion) was for chilled desserts only.

you really have to watch how much of this stuff your eating..what else could contain more calories??... unfortunately the shops are selling so much sugary stuff it's unbelievable... especially this time of the year...no wonder Uk's obesity is the highest in Europe

Hope you have better luck than my recent experience with Waitrose. On Wednesday I travelled a round trip of 22 miles to buy some of their beef joints which were half price that day unfortunately by the time I arrived, middayish, nothing left! The nice butcher told me there was a queue outside the shop before opening and the beef sold almost immediately.
Good luck for tomorrow

It's not half price at all. Half price is only on chilled deserts. Not this one. Just in Waitrose and asked now. There is a taster of it tomorrow but it's not going half off at all according to the manager I asked

must be store specific then.
These are the T&C for all their christmas offers http://www.waitrose.com/calendar and it only lists the chilled deserts there. On the leaflet given out it also only says its a taster. Fair play and good luck to you if it is in your store but AFAIK it's not a nationwide offer and not happening in our store at all.

Yes, I can confirm it is half price today, 18th December. I have been to Waitrose in Northwood, Greater London and it was available at the discounted price. Voted hot for the deal.
They are offering samples too. Unfortunately, when I tasted a sample in store, it is very dry and the staff suggested it should be drenched in fresh cream or ice cream to counter act the dryness.

None in my local waitrose, managed to get some half price profiteroles but the original price a tenner is way over the top. waitrose have really messed up these half price offers not enough stock so the offers effectively closes by mid morning. lots of unhappy customers, staff taking lots of verbal abuse for the lack of stock. ( I am married to a waitrose partner so I am getting inside info on this subject) waitrose really must try harder to get it right.

That calendar offer you quoted is today only - not tomorrow. Specifically dated 17th December.

I know that, and it wouldnt even fall into that category is my point as it is for chilled and this isnt a chilled dessert. Im saying that this offer must be store specific.

Why is this hot? This deal is imaginary. Having a delivery tomorrow, and just rung to see if I could add this, and it isn't half price tomorrow, instore or online.

Retailers who are doing these 12 days of Xmas daily offers like Asda, Iceland, Costco online , do not announce the daily offer until the day . I have noticed Iceland's offer is announced on line from just after 12am the day it's launched.
There will never be enough stock on these offers as they are just gimmick to get you in store, I asked in Morrison's for the 3 Lt Jack Daniel's, I was informed it was onlt a Black Friday offer & all sold by 9.30am in a 40 minutes time frame, however I did see it advertised before.

That's where you're wrong. Waitrose have published their 12 days of Christmas offers. Posted them all out to everyone. Listed them online. Put terms and conditions online for all the upcoming offers. You might be right about other places. But being that CS have confirmed in store. On phone and online this isn't happening I think it's most likely that is a mistake.

It's tasting day on Sunday for this that is all. Went in and asked and staff showed me the leaflet for 12 deals of Christmas or whatever it was called. There was no discount for this, simply a tasting day. The voucher immediately prior to the tasting day was a half price one for today, but had nothing to do with that cake.
Heads up for anyone buying, cake looked lovely but Best Before date is 27th Dec. If they get more next week with a longer date then I might bite. They do have a Heston chocolate truffle cake dated 30th Dec, and I just couldn't resist

Because sugar calories are bad, but those protein and fat calories, you won't get fat from them!
Continually eat more calories than you have going and you've got a problem, whatever.

Would you like to apoligise as a poster has confirmed today it's half price. Shop staff are not allowed too tellmyou when there offers start & the jobs worth ones will stick to store policy. We had one who was doing the mark downs and he had to put them in the cabinet, he was not allowed to hand them over to you & the other is whenh all the mark downs AR on a trolly Being marked down & you ask what a certain product will be at reduced price, the answer will be "don't know yet" or are you going to reduce such & such ans "later" & you go back later & been reduced but all gone.
