To get this deal please call VM sale's on 0800 064 3847
First 6 month's... Then £6
I posted VM 4G deal about 2 weeks but not sure if people noticed £3 offer with VM for 300min ulmtd txt & 300mb data..
This is actually been offered to new customers also but now the data is doubled to 600mb. In my opinion this is the cheapest in terms of min, txt & data allowance all for £3..
It's 4G by the way
30 day contract
Data roll over
Its for 1st 6 months but I'm sure we can all ways haggle for similar price otherwise just cancel..
4g speed seems to around 15mb - 25mb as reported on previous thread.
Edit: This price of £3 is NOT on website you have to call sales team
Many people are not getting both 1/2 price & double data. So I suggest first get 1/2 £3. When sim arrives call back & ask for double data, refer them to website promotion. If they refuse threaten then to cancel.

Virgin mobile are not a very good network, especially the customer service side, a few years ago they were brilliant at customer service and were doing great deals to retain there customers. Be warned they throttle the speed on 3G, especially after you have exceeded 3.5 gb of data, they confirmed this recently in the daily mail. I am not sure whether they will do the same thing on the new 4G tariffs, but do check this to see if you are getting slow internet you have been warned!!!

I recently switched from ee payg to Virgin media and the 4g speeds are signicantly slower. So while it's faster than 3g, and fast enough for me, you get what you pay for. Pretty much the same situation as with Giffgaff and o2.

I know. I was doubtful as well but peeps here convinced me with cashback stories and
so far 3 cheques paid up and waiting for 4th. Cashback claiming is done all online so no messing
with sending bills in the post.

I have just completed a contract with them. I received all cashback claims although the last one required a phone call. For some reason they rejected my claim repeatedly claiming it was the wrong month's bill. My guess was that their cashback system was not updated quickly enough to accept prompt bill submissions. I have just embarked on a similar SIM only deal with Mobile Phones Direct which should cost £3.50 after cashback through Talkmobile. The deal was posted previously but received no response.

I was told the same. Just call them up again and hope you get through to someone who can offer both promotions : double data and half price for first 6 months. I called up 4 times in total and was offered this twice

In that case best thing to do world be to call up & get 1/2 price £3. Then when sim arrives to call back & ask for double data. If they refuse refer them to website promotion or threaten them to cancel.

Got the double data @ £3/ month, BUT watch the small print with these!
Example a Facebook messenger text they charge as multi media 40p a time, they also have extortionate "access" charges for some numbers. They also offer you a "second " courtesy Sim, then charge you £5 for it! Their charges are disgusting.
My Sim is cancelled now.

My SIM has been delivered for this deal (not activated yet). Confirmed first 6 months at £3/m 300min unlimited texts, 300mb data...... it's extremely cheap but after reading poor reports about Virgin customer service I am wondering whether go for the PlusNet £5/m SIM because Plusnet seem to have much happier customers.........hmm?

Each and every virgin media post I find this sentences from someone or many people "worst customer service", I don't work for them I called them few time myself and found nothing wrong with their customer service, how many year r we going to call them in our life ? I came from giffgaff and they DON'T have customers service department or number ever existed, still never have any problem in 2 year, also don't believe too good or bad things like "speed is not the same as EE" "Throttle the speed" "coverage are not good" etc if any doubt call them, try it for month, go online chat or go into virgin store to find out right answer instead of believing in cowboys, there is huge community and cmpatitior working with each company to promote or demote brands
