Spotted in Aldi Lewes today - Monsigny champagne reduced from £9.99 to £7.99 a bottle. There were a few cases on the shelves when I was there earlier. Not a bad champagne for New Year, and as cheap as Prosecco.
As this was a handwritten red (reduced) label I am not sure if it's local to Lewes only, or nationwide. Worth a look if you're there anyway.

Tesco champagne is on offer again. Carpenter and Louis something both £8 each.. stock up your wine cellar!! :wink:

You can get prosecco for sub £5 at the moment,still a good price for a champagne though.
