I absolutely love mine, as do all my friends who own them. Resident Evil 7 and Ace Combat 7 are looking incredible. Also, Sony are selling them as fast as they can produce them.

i brought my psvr into the office yesterday, and everyone was blown away. yeah it's pretty expensive to just drop £500 on a psvr, camera, and a few games, but f*ck it, i'm an adult and i can afford to do so. all i wanted as a 10 year old was a mega cd but couldn't afford it - nothing's changed except now i have the money to throw around as a grown up

it seems the VR headsets are just a gimmick and not worth the £350 price take..I expect the price to fall next year.

errr.... just like other games, because these particular games were not good enough for their release prices.
(Rush of Blood is only reduced a couple of £ btw)
You might as well say PS4 is failing because some of its games have been reduced :smirk:

clearly you are. just because I questioned why these were reduced so early. you jumped to conclusions and got all defensive. I voted hot by the way as it's a decent price. kind of regret that. why is the price reduced? clearly not selling the games for the VR. the headsets may be great. but last ability ect ect. in my opinion it's a gimmick that won't last. merry Christmas.

That's your opinion that's fine, the issue i have is that your opinion isn't based on facts just you assumptions.
Since you questioned why PSVR games are reduced here's my opinion for what it's worth, PSVR games are reduced because there isn't a huge demand for them, there isn't a huge demand because Sony have only be able produce roughly half of what they intended because of issues producing Oled screens ( hence the lack of advertising too) If they had been able to produce them who knows maybe the demand for games would be higher and price cuts not necessary
For example these games have been sitting in Sainburys for ages but they haven't had stock of the headset since day 1 and even then it was pre-order it's no surprise that there not selling and once the likes of Argos and amazon start reducing prices everybody else follows.
Nobody knows if VR will take off this time round least of all you Steve, but the tech is there now for it to at least have a fighting chance , i guess we'll know in a couple of years. This is my last response, have a good Christmas!

alot of but hurts from my comment. hardly trolling when a price gets reduced from something that was launched in Oct. like I said I was thinking of getting one but will hold out until the price drops for the head set. the fact the games price have dropped suggests the VR is hyped just my opinion. if you don't like it then tough. merry Christmas.

Tomb raider was released in October and price is reduced, does that mean the ps4 is a 'hyped gimmick'?

I got the mega CD as a child and I thought the three games I had for it (as there weren't many lol) were **** amazing. In hindsight I don't think they aged well! As an adult I cannot afford the VR right now but would love it! Maybe next year...

Oh, btw, VR is incredible. Doubters obviously haven't tried it. Prices are dropping because new games are coming out and the ones out ATM are almost like extended demos

and when the kinect was launched it sold out on launch but that turned into a gimmick. I'm sure the novelty will wear out on these after a few months and users will go back to using a controller and sitting down playing.

Like 3d TV I welcome development, but pricing is important. how can you charge £350 for a piece of kit that's added to a console that only costs £220??? would you pay 1,400 for a turbo to fit in a car valued at £1,000??? the pricing is too much, but, I welcome the technological development.
grizzl33 to Shoobz
21 Dec 16#19
You're right. Pricing is important. That is why the PSVR is the cheapest true gaming VR you can get and that is why it consistently sold out for the first and second waves. It's the cheapest you will get for a good while and is arguably the most important BR headset as it is better poised for customers to adopt early.
Sure the prices will come down, but don't expect it anytime soon.

I had an Oculus Rift DK2 and was amazed with that, actually sold it for a profit :stuck_out_tongue:.This technology is at the cutting edge of development at the moment and could be the next technological jump since the invention of the iPhone. I've just gone for the HTC Vive due to the room tracking but I do think Sony will heavily push for development in full VR games over the next year whereas Oculus and Vive will have lots of demo content from developers who want to put their feet in the water and see where they can take the technology. Prices will drop on current generation headsets as new smaller, lighter and eventually cordless headsets start to emerge. I can't wait for that!

It will be a hit just not the £350 bracket. A bundle with the new ps4 at £500 together will be good but not the estimated £750 bundled together
