If you are getting your kids a PC/Laptop for Christmas then this would make a great Steam starter pack to accompany it.

Some of the games do contain adultish themes (e.g. Left 4 Dead) but it's quite mild and not on the level of Grand Theft Auto.

Also you won't need a ridiculously powerful PC to run the games. They will probably run fine on older and lower spec laptops

I'd like to know this too. I was really looking for a good deal on CS:GO and L4D1 and 2 are great even though I already have them. I'd like to gift them. Also, even if I don't have a game can I gift it to another account?
Also, if I activate this key on a new steam account, will it remove the limitation of not being able to add friends (because it's a new account)? Nothing like a good fresh smurf account.
