Full credit to golfer2007 for mentioning this on the Canadian PSN thread.
Until Dawn is one of the few games cheaper on PSN US than Canada. Using PCGameSupply's exchange rate of $15.78 to £20, $9.99 equates to £7.88.
Furthermore, you can use the PS+ trick to save a further 10% (from the base price of $19.99). That'd make $7.99, or £6.30.
PS+ trick (once per account): Sign into your US account and attempt to upload a save file to online storage. You'll see a message saying this is a feature of PS+; here's two days free!

Ooh, that would be awesome! It can be quite confusing comparing US vs Canada while taking exchange rates into account. I always end up making spreadsheets, haha!
Definitely let me know if you find that link

Someone posted some website in here which compares Playstation store deals between USA UK and I think Canada and you can see what's on offer where and what's free at same time. Can't find this anywhere. Not much time recently for things like that :disappointed:

Ah, at least you got the cheaper credit. Well timed! Yeah, I bought a 2TB hard drive a while back. It's quite glorious having dozens of games installed and not having to worry about swapping discs.

Got it for 5.63 anyway so not bad. Now I need new hard drive because that 500gb is already full :disappointed:

For future reference, here's how:
Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Upload to Online Storage
You can only do it once per account, so might actually be best saving it for a larger saving? Until Dawn would've just been an extra $2 off

I bought it when it was this price a couple of months ago after already playing through it on launch last year. It is absolutely my favourite console game of this generation so far.

I'm sorry for stupid question. Just got PS4 and I have an account registered on UK address. I assume that I need to create a new account with new email and put USA as location? What about address and billing stuff? Is it how it works?

Hey Lucy. No worries.
Yeah, that's right. So basically you create a new account (on your browser is probably easiest) and use a random address in the US, like a takeaway - Burger King or McDonald's or whatever.
Next, sign into your US account on your PS4 and choose Yes when it asks if you want this to be your primary console for the new account.
Head over to the PS Store, redeem the code you got from PCGameSupply and buy whatever you like.
Finally, hit Download, go back to your UK account, and when the download is finished, you can play the game under your UK ID, trophies and all.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you need any more help

To balance above...I've not picked up my copy for what must be 6 months minimum. I'm part way through first play through & having already 'lost' so,e characters i'm not sure I can be bothered to finish it...definitely won't play through again to try & be more successful.

UK PSN sales are rarely - if ever - in sync with the US and Canada.
We currently have the 12 Games of Christmas; they're having a weekly 'Holiday' sale.
I dare say there'll be a Christmas sale here shortly.

Got this game for £12 in cash converters. Loved it and currently playing it through a second time and I'm a girl who doesn't normally like video games. If you like horror films it's a great buy.

Brilliant price, I've played it already and traded it in but I'm tempted to buy it again for a second play through.

Yeah, that's right. So basically you create a new account (on your browser is probably easiest) and use a random address in the US, like a takeaway - Burger King or McDonald's or whatever.
If you're using Gmail, you can use the dot or '+' trick to send email to the same address. Say you're using [email protected] for the UK account; Sony would accept [email protected] for the US account, when actually they're the same thing. For credit, the HUKD community generally uses PCGameSupply: https://mobile.pcgamesupply.com/catalog/buygames/sony-playstation-network-cards/US-Region
