I just spotted this offer in a Timeout email for two Birchboxes for £10 + 2.95 p&p, filled with five high-quality beauty samples. I think they would make great gifts and if you order by Tuesday 20th December they say they will deliver in time for Christmas. It requires a sign up so you have to remember to cancel if you don't want that. Lots of terms and conditions but I'm not sure whether to post them here as I don't normally post deals :/
Edit: I think you have to sign up for a monthly subscription, longer subscriptions e.g. 3 or 6 months might not be cancelable.
finally got back home so just opened my boxes! i didnt get all that was shown in the photo. was looking forward to the mascara which i didnt get. but overall, it was a good deal. =)

Received both my boxes, I was also worried it was only the December box so sent an email, they replied very quickly to reassure me. I mainly ordered for the hair brush as I was going to buy that exact brush in boots for £13.00.

Were you pleased with the boxes? Did everyone get what is shown in the photos or did people get other things?

Got both my boxes today  Very speedy service I must say! I got December's box & November's box as the free gift. Really lovely presentation & would make a lovely gift subscription as a present for someone special but I am not sure I would pay £12.95 a month as they don't tailor the box to you even though they say they do. Very happy with all the items though, even the things I won't use as I collect things throughout the year & then wrap them together to give as gifts  I would value the items in the December at about £30 but the November box not so much. It came with a hairbrush supposedly worth £13.99 which is lovely & I will use but the other 4 items are just samples. Cheers for the find OP

Ive bought the timeout voucher and applied it on the birchbox site through the link in the email... but birchbox didnt mention giving an additional box. And it wouldnt let me add two boxes to my cart. So applying the time out code only gave a 10 pounds discount - which is basically what i paid to get the code already, no bargain there. Can someone confirm this happened to them too and that they definitely received a second box please? Im worried i did something wrong...

the same happened to me, no mention of the extra box... will have to wait and see, and then maybe email them if something goes not as expected :disappointed:

Thank you Remus and Milady that was very helpful.
Although I think I've been a bit dumb! I got the code and copied it then went to the birchbox site (not through the timeout link) and redeemed it there! Do you think it will still work?

The REDLIPS code works directly on the site but you will not get the free box offer you have to purchase on timeout & then redeem on the Birchbox site. They are prob much of a muchness in value, just depends upon what you like

If anyone sees whether there is an option for posting this as a gift to someone else could they post here?

You get a code to redeem so it cannot take another code... happy with the offer... will report back with what I got

Only one code works at once... not into lip glosses... would rather the extra samples

It says to enter the voucher code but where do I find that?

You go to link in the deal, then you 'add to basket', then you basket total is for £10.00, they reduction from £20.00 has already been applied. Then you just check out through Timeout, they give you a code, and you go to https://www.birchbox.co.uk/subscribe/channel/partner and put in the code. Then you check out again with the code from Timeout, and it will add the £2.95 delivery.
Sorry, I could have made it clearer.

Timeout will send you a message with the voucher. You will have to copy and paste the link. Will open your offer. There is a box to write the code. Hope helps.

Got the December box yesterday and also got the Smith & Cult Lip Lacquer and had previously subscribed so it works even if you are not technically a new customer but have a lapsed subscription.

It does say 'Not valid if you have already ordered or received the December Birchbox'.

I am a little confused... who do you pay? Timeout is asking for payment details but you say it is a subscription service with Birchbox...

I haven't completed a transaction because I'm kind of broke, but I think you have to pay Timeout £10, then they give you a code and then you go to https://www.birchbox.co.uk/subscribe/channel/partner and enter the code, then you pay £2.95 for delivery. As far as I can tell, you should be taking a monthly subscription because longer subscriptions are not cancelable.

If you're a new customer you could try the code for the lip lacquer, I'm just not sure if it will work.

I think so, £1.30 per item. It would be great if the lip lacquer code worked on this as well but it probably doesn't. Might be worth a try, though.

Edit: I think you have to sign up for a monthly subscription, longer subscriptions e.g. 3 or 6 months might not be cancelable.
For students there is also a different offer of a half-price box through Unidays which you might be able to combine with a free full-size Smith & Cult Lip Lacquer (code=REDLIP).
Edit 2: just adding the terms and conditions:
