If you have the newer controller with a 3.5" headphone socket then no, if you have the older controller then yes you need the headset adapter...

50x = green, 50p = blue, same headset different colours both work on either console (or with PC with adapter)...
BTW I wouldn't buy as we have had 2 sets and the quality is not brilliant - both lasted <6 months light use (cable faults and its a captive cable)

I could go deep into why but no one probably cares, however GAME give reward points + TCB and you don't have to pay for delivery or Prime.
