If you have the new X Box One S (3.5mm jack plug on the controller) then these will work straight out of the box. If you have the older X Box you will need the Audio Controller adaptor.

Both still be working on xbox but 50x matches the xbox colour but it all depends if your son likes blue or green. Any way this is from game website "Xbox One controller with the 3.5mm headset jack, and other Xbox One controllers via the EAR FORCE® Headset Audio Controller (sold separately)."

I bought the HyperX Cloud 2 on Black Friday for £49.99 and there really good for plug and play :wink:

They're good for the price.
Keep in mind two things though. They're very, very, very plasticy. Could snap them with your little finger.
And they're very small. When I had a pair, I had to wear them at their full size, and they still only just fit. I do have a pretty big head, but not THAT big.
