Seems like a decent price for a well reviewed AC1750 dual-band range extender with gigabit port. Also available from Maplin for the same price I believe.

I've got the smaller AC750 one (RE210) and it works great, using it for my YouView box with the TalkTalk router but I've also tested it will a Buffalo AC1300 router.

No pal. I've got a TP-Link router. Thought it would all play nice together. I get 2/3 bars WiFi in the living room (router is upstairs) and it works better than this did on full strength. I was forever having to restart it as it would randomly disconnect itself. Although the lights on it would remain blue. Had it for about 3 months, then complained to Amazon. They were going to replace it but luckily they had no stock so issued me a refund instead.

That's a shame. According to the reviews on Amazon it seems to work for a lot of people. Did you have the same Asus router?

Mine went back - refused to pick up my 5Ghz network from my Asus router. Went for a Netgear instead which worked straight out of the box.

Same with mine. It was a piece of junk. Avoid this is my advice.
