Bought and Played for about an hour last week. Its a good game especially the campaign BUT, The only part of Titanfall 1 I played was Frontier Defence and they haven't included it! :disappointed: Very disappointed.

People in this thread are overhyping it a bit too much. Decent game, campaign mainly was awesome. Multiplayer is pretty meh, just another dumbed down shooter multiplayer which gets boring and repetitive after a few hours. This will defo get cheaper so I would wait.

The keyboard has been my most extravagant purchase tbh. I keep looking at fancy expensive mice but my current mouse was a present so that's helping to restrain me.

I'm a bit fan of overpriced peripherals. Also got an elite controller and tournament grade arcade stick ha.

I bought a refurbed Corsair cherry MX keyboard from Scan a couple of years ago. It felt like an extravagant and pointless purchase at the time but now using a controller feels wrong and dirty.

Coming from console I was using a controller even on PC FPS. Bought a nice corsair KB+M and whilst it has been a steep learning curve its so fun to use now I'm a bit more used to it.

I think I need to experiment with it. I really don't want to have to resort to using a controller though.

Dunno if you noticed but you can now change aim down sight and normal sensitivity independently in TF2 which is nice.

I have to play Overwatch alone because only one of my friends has it and he hates it. I have tried playing Infinite Warfare online but it is just far too twitchy for me.

I like Overwatch as well but my friends not so much. This year is the first year since cod4 I haven't bought COD at launch (and dont play to buy it at all) feels quite liberating to be honest!

For sure, amazing piece of code. Very similar specs here 980ti/4790k, I play very high and am usally above 100fps at 1440p.

I never play Conquest. I either do Domination or occasionally Operations if I'm not pushed for time.
The PC port of BF1 is truly a work of art. On a single 1070 and i7-6400t I get a minimum of 90 fps maxed out at 1440p even in the most detailed and explosive scenes.

I only mention crouching cause you need it to bunny hop. I'm certainly not advocating crouching in the corner :smile:https://youtu.be/3x_ri07QIR4
Battlefield is a slog at times. I think its great, just got a dolby atmos receiver, hooked it up to my PC and played BF1 (one of the few games that support it) and the sound is incredible. But half an hour for a game of conquest is bit much sometimes.

I have it on PC so the loading times are fine although it does often infinite load when I exit a match and I have to kill it and relaunch it to get back to the menu.
Advanced Warfare and beyond absolutely and unashamedly ripped off Titanfall. The lead creators of Titanfall originally designed Modern Warfare and clearly Activision thought they could get back at them by ripping off their formula but using the ever-shrinking clout of the CoD brand to outdo Titanfall's sales numbers.

I don't tend to crouch much in Titanfall tbh because I move a lot. I got quite good at doing wall running and crazy acrobatics on the first one and never really use a distance weapon.
It probably also says a lot that I have been exclusively playing this game in Angel City 24/7 mode whenever I've been on it over the last week.

Woah, woah, woah. CoD stole its style from Titanfall,. Fortunately, Titanfall does it a whole lot better
Don't get me wrong. Battlefield 1 is brilliant, but unfortunately the load times (on Xbox One) are horrendous, and I've unfortunately discovered a 'black screen of death' in some games when I've actually got in. Most frustrating.

I agree it's not the most intuitive, the other decision you will have to make if you decide to try learn slide hopping is whether you prefer to have hold to crouch or toggle. Plenty of good tutorials on youtube, Frothy Omen is probably my fav for PC TF2 players.

Very tempted, Is it worth getting if you played a lot of Titanfall 1 ? The thing I hated most about one is it took too long to get into a game and you could really only play attrition, has that changed at all ?

I have siege mate and swear by it, it's insane! Don't have BF1 on PC but have it on xbox and it's getting boring and repetitive now. This looks good fun but also looks like the latest COD games so that's why I'm a bit hit and miss whether to get it.

The first one is my favourite multiplayer shooter of all time. Only CSGO, Quake Arena and Overwatch have come anywhere near close. I'm also quite fond of BF1 atm but that game tends to annoy me as much as it delights me tbh.

I'll have a look tomorrow, thanks. It would be nice if they had included a Titanfall 1 controls option in the menu though since the functionality is pretty much identical anyway. I'm not crazy about using the middle mouse button to activate the cloak either.

The first one was awesome, despite it's rapid decline in players. I first played it on PC then moved onto Xbox One. Titanfall 2 is just a completely whole new level of gameplay, it literally is most probably the best multiplayer game I have played this year (sorry Battlefield 1), it wasn't so long ago that Rainbow Six: Siege held that title, but it's becoming increasingly harder and harder to find a game on that.
If you don't own TF2, get it.

There are two aim settings on the key bind menu, one should say toggle the other just aim, unbind right mouse from toggle and bind to the other one. All the buttons are remappable so not sure why you're having issues. http://www.pcinvasion.com/titanfall-2-technical-review
Aim modifier is what you want rather toggle aim modifier.

GOTY. Just outrageous moment to moment gameplay. If you get as far learning slide hopping and air strafing and crank that FOV up to 110 the game feels so damn fast. Takes the COD run and gun style gameplay to the next level.
