Fantastic price and a fair few other good watches in the sale too! I've got a PRC 200 but love this design!

Of course at this price but it's also outstanding value for sapphire crystal and more accurate. Do agree it's a pain to have battery changed by Tissot every few years! Cost me £40 after 5 years but then you have to factor in service costs of more expensive brands.
For £165 what else can you expect? Auto's at that price point are dreadful, so it's quartz or nothing.
Ernest Jones are a bit dodgy with their sale watches, I've had a couple ordered via their sales in the past few years (1x Omega + 1x Bell&Ross) that are miraculously out of stock, even though I ordered them within minutes of their sale going live. IMHO some of the watches you see out of stock in their sale aren't actually available.

Question. I purchased this in store (another shop, but same group) but it had a mark on it. They are ordering me another one in. So I have paid for it, but don't have it.
Problem is the store is a bit of a drive (60 mile round trip), am i entitled to a refund over the phone? Head office are saying it has to be done in store.

Just buy another online, when it arrives you can return the marked one. simples!!

dodo !
60 mile trip and you didn't get a refund, should of then re paid once the new watch came in and the staff had checked the watch for any marks before you set off

Surely you can just phone or something then and say you've changed your mind and want a refund.I'd say that makes it easier to do ?

Ended up just doing it myself on my PRC200, £5 for the watch tools off of ebay and another £5 for the right battery and 2 minutes of my time.

Yeah you can do it yourself but I actually wanted mine pressurised as pointless in paying extra partly for 200M water resistance and then voiding it for me...for a lot of people this isn't and issue I guess.

The Citizen royal marine titanium is on the same site for £135 which is a excellent price and lower than its resell price on ebay..

Good spot! I thought this one was particularly cheap as well..
First of all let me say that I think this is a great deal, I must however disagree that all mechanical watches at around this price are terrible. The Orient Bambino (around £140 fitted with a quality Hirsch strap is one of my favourites) Seiko monster and many more.

Anything fitted with the seiko 5 movement for that matter.. It is pretty much bulletproof.

Fantastic price for a watch this good. I've had a PRC 200 for over 5 years now and prefer it to some of the other more expensive watches I own, looks great with the fabric strap as well. If I didn't already own one I would jump on this. Very tempted by the Raymond Weil Freelancer myself.
Why is this called the Tour de France model? Because you'd have to have balls the size of Armstrong's to wear such a bracelet?
Pretty limiting market isn't it? A royal marine is more likely to wear a G shock or Suunto and unless you are a marine I can't see the appeal to wearing a watch that has that stated on it.
Probably why I don't know anyone who would wear such a watch if he wasn't a marine. And would laugh at someone who did

It's not a bracelet its a nato strap.

Because it's colour themed and Tour branded on the back? They did a similar one for the NBA with a Tissot touch that was gold exclusive with NBA on the back? Nice because they are themed but not blatantly branded on the watch.

Quidco is tracking at £13.75 :-) Obviously this could change by the time it gets paid but fantastic if it stays at this amount.

This is not a NATO strap, a NATO strap passes behind the watch so in the event a spring bar breaks or pops out, the case will still be secured by the other spring bar.

Yeah you'd laugh at someone wearing this who isn't a R.R. Commando. There are lots of people who wear watches classed as diver's. As you know because you posted one. Very very few are actually divers. Surprise!!!

Just got mine. Sending back *. The strap is soooooo long. When I get it around my wrist (18cm( the end of the strap then sticks out near where the face is and looks ridiculous. Shame because the face is lovely.
* Actually might just get a new strap for it.
Me being stupid! The strap is really long but you can fold the end back into the first metal thingy.
Looks great. Really pleased with it. Thanks OP for making me spend money I didn't know I wanted to spend :smirk:

Yep that is the nature of a nato strap.
if that bothers you can can always cut the strap, Nato strap are usuall nylon and with a quick buit of heat from a lighter or an iron you can reseal the edge to make it perfect
