Basically, no new phones appealed to me, so I want a sim only contract on a 30 day contract until some new phones are released Feb/March time. After lots of spool from their sales person saying it's not possible for them to do it that cheap, eventually l I got through to the cancellation team, told them if they can't match giffgaff at 6gb/Unltdtext/unltdmins for 20 a month I'll be leaving.
Ended up getting 30 day rolling contract with unlimited text, unlimited mins and 8gb. Inc tethering too, all for 13quid. I have been with them for 13years though.
So if your in a similar position, get it done

I used to have unlimited everything on 30 day rolling for £15 with three, then suddenly they decided that they would up my price to 30 out of nowhere, hard to find these deals anymore :disappointed:

People like you where taking advantage of the deal, many people using 100gb+ a month and as their main source for BROADBAND, those 30 day contracts are for flexibility, not heavy users.

On three I had 200
Minutes unlimited texts and unlimited data on 30 day rolling for £13 a month. I decided to leave because I needed a phone. So now I get 1000 minutes unlimited texts and 10GB of data for an iPhone 7 plus jet black 128GB for £36 a month

The asda one is like 02's bolt on. Pay as you go sim, that you message them with a code, and they do it for 30days, after Xmas this offer ends, and jumps up in price for a smaller allowance, it's also only a 3g network. I did really consider the asda one.
You possibly can do better on black Friday, but my contract has only just ran out, so if I'd have done it sooner, I'd have had to pay to end early. Regards the s7, I don't feel it's much better than the Sony z3 I've currently got (none of the available phones have jumped much in spec over the last 2yrs), and supposedly the s8 will have close to 8gb ram and a bumped up processor. So I'm interested to see what the next few months brings phone spec wise.

I'm with Three currently roaming in the Canary Islands and whilst I can just about use websites I can't stream any youtube or even BBC iPlayerRadio due to being restricted to GPRS.
I tried with my O2 SIM and was able to stream without issue on the same handsets so know it's Three's contract restrictions with their roaming partners.

The 'all you can eat data' was way over what i used at the time (about 4gb/m), but i was just pointing out that the value was incredible, thats the point of this website right? no need to be so accusing.
on side note im on ID now 2000 mins 5000txts and 6gb for £15 30/rolling which i think is about average these days.

"People like you"? What a cheek! Unless you actually know this guy and his data usage habits, I think you owe him an apology. Besides, if he's paying for unlimited data he can use as much as he wants

I agree that it ain't the greatest deal too. I've been with EE for over two years. Contract was up so I bought a new phone and required a sim only contract. I wanted to stay with EE due to their (in my experience) good customer service, great coverage and their fast data; fastest data out there! (Up to 90MB I believe) So I rang up. I had a brief read of one of these sim only threads and got an idea for what I should aim for. I stated I got offered a deal from virgin: £15/month - Unlimited Mins & Texts. 1st time round, they couldn't match it and I ended up with my PAC code.....oops.
Next day I rang again & also didn't get what I wanted. Rang the 3rd time (Friday) and got a deal in 1min with no hassle or anything. Ended up with UNLIMITED MINS & TEXTS, 20G of their fastest 4G - up to 90MB download. All for £15, 12 month contract and BT sports for the duration of the contract and 15G EU roaming. There was a couple of things more included too. I think it's their 4GEE plan or something like that...

If a smart tv can run with the tethering of 3g, what else you need mate? I am getting H+ which is equivalent to 3.5g, also I am using it as an alternative to my home broadband, just the cost of £3.75. Unlimited tethering sims are no more available in the market both 3g and 4g, and this is not a crap at all!

After 13 years of time staying with three this deal is not something outstanding, if it was anything between £5 and £8 could have been better. Many people having unlimited minutes, text and 10gb of 4g data with ee and vodafone under £10.
I am with T-mobile for 8 years now with many different contracts. When my contract ended last time two years ago, they offer me many different packages which I did not like ( I was looking for unlimited internet) and asked them for my pac. After few days I found unlimited internet with my current contract which is 300 minutes, unlimited text, internet and EE minutes for £3.75 pm. Although it is not 4G, I can still watch my 48 inch smart tv all the day as unlimited tethering included with the offer. I was thinking to leave many times but could not find a better offer with the top networks.

They offered me this and I refused. I was on 4GB unlimited for £11 now on Plusnet. Will move again to Three after few months as they only sim to have good offers for new customers.
Best you could do, if you have dual sim phone is to buy 24GB three sim from amazon and second sim just for calls 3/5p a minute if you are not heavy caller. £1 per GB plus calls no contract..

yeah i did the same last week, basically to get it you have to tell them when you ring up that you want a cheap deal like this and if they try and give you other deals then you just say okay i will cancel my contract and they will try and offer you rubbish deals to keep you in and then finally they transfer you to the cancellations team and if you mention to them what you want then they do it straight away wheres the first point of contact will no do it nor accept there is such deal.
