Not bad, but if you have BT broadband and don't need the feel at home then BT are offering 30GB, unlimited minutes, unlimited texts for £20 a month with an £80 amazon / itunes gift card. Possible £35 quidco to so could be as low as an effective £10.42 a month - slightly more than the Three deal if you get the cashback, but comes with unlimited minutes

OK, ta. I thought the 'feel at home' meant you would have as much data when out and about as you would expect from your home broadband. Wasn't sure if that would extend to abroad.
cheers!

Can you just use it as a data sim? Makes it good deal if so!

It won't work in an iPad. It can detect the device and displays a message to put it in a phone handset. But, you can use it as a hotspot to connect iPad to watch tv apps.

Yes, it is a refer a friend however you can either having the £25 amazon voucher or go through quidco, BUT there is a form you need to complete to recieve the voucher, but you may end up being declined by Three as they usually track this on a refer a friend link that you would create, or your friend would have created and shared with you.
I am currently trying to get my £25 voucher and have quidco tracked too

Ordered, didn't get the tracking confirmation yet from quidco though. Anyone got a tracking confirmation yet? How long did it take? I'm gonna cancel the contract during the cooling period if it doesn't track within the next few days :P

The data is throttled down so much in the USA its almost worthless, I ended up buying an ATT sim and dongle, for calls it is ok

judging by quidco reviews of three... how likely are people to get the cashback?

Im afraid it didn't track for me with this deal. Had to cancel it, after a 40 minute struggle with them. Three were trying to suggest it was still a great deal even without the cashback tracking. Then they said that because I bought it through a third party (quidco) I couldn't cancel without going through quidco. So beware!

I can't fault three in the UK data wise. As mentioned in this thread the data (feel at home) is abysmal abroad. Both Spain and USA it was almost unusable akin to the GPRS days. I couldn't stream music in either country which was the main reason for wanting data abroad.

Thanks for the post OP. I've signed up for the deal as I've wanted to change networks for a while now, and just use a PAYG Three sim at the moment when I go abroad. This works out cheaper than my current network and if the Quidco works as well, even better! Thanks again, heat added.
