The only people who think CDs sound better than vinyl are people who haven't a clue what they're talking about

IMHO there's more warmth/atmosphere in listening to vinyl, mind I could be biased due to having first listened to music on vinyl around 40 years ago

I remember when CD were coming in. They said it would sound better (it doesn't) and you could scratch it smear jam on it and they'd play (they don't)
Actually CD's will be rightly binned when Vinyl retakes its proper place as no1. Singles however, won't.

The only people that think vinyl sounds better are the ones that have spent way too much on their audiophile systems at home.
"CDs reflect exactly what the artists recorded in the studio. Vinyl distorts it. Some listeners honestly feel that the defects vinyl introduces somehow make it more attractive or "warmer." But from any objective standpoint, there's no justification in calling the sound of vinyl records "better."
An audiophile who has invested time and a lot of money in their system to play vinyl has to tell you it's better otherwise their belief system is at fault and that's something that is very hard to be objective about.

excellent, just purchased from Amazon along with an Ellie Goulding vinyl and using my Audible £15 credit, both are now only costing me £6.98

Same price at Amazon (with MP3 autorip). Surprised it was that cheap compared to the rip-off prices for both new and old vinyl. Probably costs them all of tuppence to make!
