I ordered from Shopto too. £5 less with arguably nicer artwork and soundtrack as an extra bonus.
The review embargo lifts on 5th, so there should be time to cancel if reviews are bad.
ICO and Sotc were epic. Here's hoping that this is too.

This game is going to crash and burn , too much hype , too much delay , the game is going to end up with average reviews , poor sales , anyone paying 44.99 for this game as a pre-order must be MAD ! it will be 19.99 - 24.99 for the steel book edition pretty quickly !

Watched a gameplay video last night for this and wasn't sold, hope it turns out to be good though.

Sorry to be pedantic but think there's an error in the description here, as it doesn't seem to say anything about a dynamic theme on the GAME website? As far as I can tell the steelbook is literally the only extra, which is why I went for Shopto in the end, with the mini soundtrack.

Anywho, Ico and SotC are some of my favourite games of all time, so been waiting quite a while for this and the excitement is running high now!

I think this game looks beautiful and it's exactly the kind of game that I want to play - but I'm done with pre-ordering games at a premium to sit devaluing on my shelf. I'll buy it, but I can wait till it's half this price.

Faceplates all sold out now. Went to buy it but had to reset my password and then they'd sold out.

I got the same vibe about this game that I had about No Man's Sky, mainly due to the fact I weren't feeling the concept of it so didn't buy in to the hype, apart from that I got such a backlog at the minute I'm not tempted to pull the trigger in the slightest....not even for that lovely looking steelbook :smile:

Very tempting, as this is a particularly beautiful steelbook case. But I never pre-order games on principle.

I think I prefer the art on the Shop.to sleeve so will keep my order there. Will just flog the face plate as it won't go with my MGSV console.

Anyone tried flubit for this yet?

Does this come just as pictured? I have the Bloodborne steel book edition but that comes in a hard cardboard case.

I'm unsure whether to go for the mini soundtrack and sleeve or this now. Any thoughts?

Commercially yes, but pretty much everything has got a strong critical reception. Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs 2, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Infinite Warfare, hell even Final Fantasy 15 are all well up into the 80s on Metacritic. If this continues the trend I'll be well happy

How does this compare to the Shopto Launch Edition version which is currently £39.85?

I assume that the difference between the Game and Shopto version is that the Shopto version has an exclusive Dust Jacket and Mini Soundtrack. Yes?
