Update: Since the game was released on 9 Dec while it is 24 Dec now, which is the 15th day after release, the £2 discount for prime members seem to have expired...

I'll wait until the digital version is cheaper, I simply dislike discs, it's not the 90s anymore, I don't like clutter and am not bothered about resale value.

I am tempted for £23, but Jim Sterling put me off for life. Maybe when it's £10-15.
He put me off for getting it at release but the vast majority of reviews are glowing. At this price I'm taking the chance and can always sell on if I agree with Jimbo.

Anyone know the cheapest place to buy the digital version? I prefer them to discs personally.

At £22.99 with prime you might aswell just get the disc, have something to resell AND save cash...

Oops, just realised this came out on the 9th, which is 2 weeks yesterday so the discount expired an hour ago :disappointed:

When it was £22.99 it was cheaper, so it was justified. The problem, as Dan notes, is that the £2 Prime credit run out at midnight, so it's now more expensive than ShopTo.....but some people prefer to use Amazon.

They do because if you are really desperate to play this you can have this delivered by 6pm tomorrow night with Amazon.
Btw, was the £2 discount really working before midnight?

It was, and still is via the prime now app anyway

Yeah. Basically the £2.00 Prime discount applies like so:
It just so happens that period ended at midnight, as the 14 days are now up. The Amazon page was showing the discount offer for an hour afterwards tho, but the offer wasn't appearing in the basket. The offer is now gone from the product page.

Why has this been expired? Even at £24.99 it's cheaper than the £30 Tesco offer trending on the gaming front page.

Odd we don't get Prime Now in Peterborough. We have a major Amazon hub and easy accessed via road and rail.

It doesn't seem defined by where the Amazon warehouses are but where the major transport/courier hubs are. For example biggest transport hub in the uk as regards parcels/logistics etc is in Birmingham area and that's why that area and a lot of the midlands got prime now first.

How come so many get prime now. Am I missing something? I live a few miles outside London, in Middlesex though but I'm not eligible. Does everyone here live like super central in major cities?

If you have bought this then my advice is play it quick and sell it quick. If you have seen the cex trade in price its £32 but won't be for long. Goddamn awful game! You have to rely on the computer AI to do what you need when commanded but it's awful and extremely frustrating because it won't do as it's told half the time. The transition animation is terrible and also dosnt do what you intend. Took mine to cex this morning in a quiet village 5 minutes after opening and apparently I'm the 4th person to trade in today and the 4th person to say the game is awful. If you haven't bought I would recommend waiting this will drop in price like a rock.

Bought 8 on Prime Now for £200 and traded them in for £256. Had to wait out in the rain for an hour but worth a days wage.
