Game near me will not buy for more than they sell it for despite heated discussions with the manager he claims that he is correct and other stores are not following guidlines. They also claim that the £1 offer is only on trade ins for credit not cash? Both nearby stores 10 miles apart stated this to me?!?

Went to Asda 30mins ago, bought for £25, Just got back from GAME, sold for £33.

Made a mistake, should have traded in for £38, bought another for £30 (from GAME), traded it in for £32 to CEX, that would have worked far better!

If you have bought this then my advice is play it quick and sell it quick. If you have seen the cex trade in price its £32 but won't be for long. Goddamn awful game! You have to rely on the computer AI to do what you need when commanded but it's awful and extremely frustrating because it won't do as it's told half the time. The transition animation is terrible and also dosnt do what you intend. Took mine to cex this morning in a quiet village 5 minutes after opening and apparently I'm the 4th person to trade in today and the 4th person to say the game is awful. If you haven't bought I would recommend waiting this will drop in price like a rock.

I bought this for the price had no intention in buying the game will play for a bit then sell to CEX

Worked for me, that's all I can say. £23 is processing as we speak. Price dropped the next day to £16, they are paying me £23 as I got it to them within 10 days (reached them on day 7 I believe).

This was not the price at my local in High Wycombe. Not one decent reduced game either.

Are you sure that's how it works? website states that they have to receive the item 10 days from the order date and that prices may vary. Meaning they could possibly give you the lower price, no?

Lock in for 10 days by selling online. Did it the other day for tomb raider. Got £23, currently £16. They also give you a free label to send it to them with, Royal Mail or click + collect. Enjoy!!! :smile:

I was thinking of different days. 2 sold 1 day then another. 1 to Cex and the other to game for the £ more. you'd probably end up more - £5 on that basis though!

Still £32 trade in at CEX for cash. Get GAME to price match for £33, buy 2, make £15 profit. Or buy 3 and it's cost you £10.

OK to replies .. yes I scanned it @£48. bought it from tesco @£27. went back to asda on the return journey ... went to straight to cs was told store and online prices differ and I showed them the online price and they said they don't price match online price. i then got them to scan again (since it was 1 hour since previous visit) ... still £48. this was at the Bideford store BTW. I presume I could order online for click and collect from store but that's irrelevant for me now (I did also point this out to cs).

not nationwide ... £48 @ mine. wasted journey.
