A bit of stock lurking about. No doubt it will be topped up if not in your area yet. Seems to be the cheapest by 1p now the shop to deal has finished.
Good luck in your hunt!

I play COD so I'd better not buy this then, as it might be too classy for me. Thanks for the heads up ;)

So people like Yahtzee, Jim Sterling etc are not proper gamers? You're being very disingenuous to say that anyone who doesn't like the game is not a proper gamer. I never play COD, last game I played, and loved, was Everybody's Gone To Rapture, yet I didn't connect to The Last Guardian. The camera and how the boy controlled (grabbed/released/jumped etc) was what did it for me.

I spent 2 hours repeatedly opening gates for a big bird dog. I'm gonna give it another go tomorrow, but if it doesn't click it's getting traded in asap.

Can be Flubit'd but it requires now an Elite account which has a free 30 day trial.

One of these games that critics rave about but can split opinion amongst gamers. I played ICO and SOTC years after they came out and found they were an absolute mess to play, with horrible controls. Good games somewhere in there, but ruined by the archaic controls.
From the sound of things (and I haven't played this yet) the control issues are still present. To me that's unacceptable in a game in 2016. Controls have evolved so much and should be past the days of being infuriatingly frustrating.
Will try this game, but waiting for it to hit the bargain bins personally.

It's good, just single player only and doesn't take that long to complete, so the new price has dropped quickly because the second hand market is likely to be flooded before long.

Finished the game but will be trading it asap. The game is not bad by any means but I think after so many years of hype it could never live up to expectations.

sorry not trolling. and don't threaten with violence please for an opinion. don't you know that the controls and camera were meant to be like this. it was to represent the unpredictability of the beast and the surrounding and make you feel vulnerable. it's just like driving a different type of car mate. not all games need to be so fluid when they are works of art like this. and yes witcher 3 played awful and no thought was given to the player but it did look good. Bloodbourne was just a hack and slash game. an updated gauntlet.
but again....imo. Happy new year.

All in the name of 'art' eh. I've purchased this game but it might have to go back until it goes below £10.
I do get some of the Witcher 3 control issues. It can feel a bit floaty out of combat but having just started my 2nd go at completing the game it is truly epic. This time I'm exploring alot and the more I play the better it gets. I never tend to play through games twice but with the expansions to look forward to I'm more motivated.
Has to be said, sort your punctuation out. It costs nothing. :smirk:

Great price. This is a game for proper gamers though... If you can appreciate the love and effort that goes into games, just how the guardian move so realistically and naturally is amazingly programmed. If however you own cod:iw and enjoy it ... I wouldnt bother...

I love the game. There really isn't anything like it out there.
Trico's AI is really outstanding. Great puzzles and atmosphere, but yes, the camera and controls are pretty poor. If that is very important to you, then I'd advice to skip this game.

Mine arrived yesterday from the £24.85 ShopTo launch edition deal, downloads patch on install which may help improve gameplay? I can't say that I've seen camera angles that interfere with gameplay, camera easy to move around. IMO loving it so far, logical puzzles, stunning locations, incredible set pieces. It is not going to be for everyone as it's a slow burner of a game, but for me, even after just one day, my game of the year (from the ones I've purchased).

Don't know why everyone's getting offended at my comment?
All I meant was I can appreciate the artwork and the feeling and the direction that went into this! Something that 'proper gamers' would consider and appreciate when playing a game!... Just a point of view...

That point of view is absolutely fine and I'm sure 99% of people on here would quite agree with you
Where I would disagree is that playing COD makes you anything other than a 'proper gamer' and I don't even know what defines a proper gamer anyway. For me a proper gamer is someone who enjoys any game they play, whatever that may be. I've loved games like Journey, Life is Strange and such like, but the idea that someone would enjoy those games any less simply because they play COD made me spit my tea with amusement!
