Classic film, I watched it again in the summer. Watched it originally when it came out at the cinema!
Maybe it only appeals to certain age groups that were actually there in the 80s before the internet and watching classics like this on VHS tape. (or betamax!). Goonies, Stand by Me, Back to the Future, Breakfast Club, Weird Science.... I could go on.... but I wont!

Watched it as a kid at the flicks and loved it. However having sat through it recently I found it to be embarrassing and cringeworthy unlike Stand by Me, The Lost Boys and Gremlins for example. (Weird Science was always awful anyway).
