The vehicle handling in this game is really really terrible.

Cars start off basic, you win new parts for competing in raves/events. For example grip.

do you mean in that they don't handle realistically and are more arcade style or that the games just rubbish to control? just wondered as was looking at it for my son he's only 8 so he's not interested in realistic handling?? xxx

It's arcade style. It's still a fun game though and has lots of content.

It's a 12 rated game anyway ;-)

I honestly couldn't get along with this game, it just seemed really boring and offered a pretty duff career mode. I'm sure there's plenty of content, but given the prices we've seen for Forza 2/3 in the last couple of months, I don't know why you wouldn't plump for that (in the case of Xbox One, at least).

Odd question but is the content on disc or do you have to download it for the PS4 version? Wouldn't given it a go at that price

Only the base game is on the disc. Wild Run, season pass content and Calling All Units expansion are via download codes. The game also requires an Internet connection to play, no offline play at all.

Thanks wanted to know before I buy it! May get it for xbox one instead!

Hated this game after playing the beta, then picked it up on Turkeys recommendation and loved it.
The only slight negative for me, is the size of the map/game, it's enormous.

Hot considering the latest DLC (Calling All Units) is around £20 alone but included in this Ultimate Edition.

Was really miffed I missed out on the Wild Run expansion for £10 when the base game was free on Xbox One a few months back, was tempted by the Calling All Units expansion for £19.99 but this way, for the same price, there's the Season Pass, too. Nice find.
For a game that got fairly mixed reviews I found it very enjoyable, it's only been the repeated "Oh you'd like to do that? You'll need The Wild Run, here let me sell it to you!" that's been putting me off playing so much.

It's the racing equivalent of Destiny :stuck_out_tongue:

Good price, so tempted but I've got Forza for now

Don't say that! I know it's almost heresy but I just can't get into Destiny (or any of Budgie's Halo series)

I actually really enjoyed the game - just wish they'd add a (limited) offline mode. I fired it up the other day but couldn't play as the servers were down.

I take it you need PS Plus to play this game?

Cheers OP, just bought instore where it is £20. Not fussed about an extra 1p! Heat added.

Can you play online against friends. Wanted a rally game but not paying £45 for a driving game. Been doing the races on GTA V.
