Does anyone have these? If so would you recommend them for casual use on daily commute?

bought these recently for 40 quid. They are awesome, amazingly comfortable, nice sound though I did end up fiddling with the Google Play equaliser. slightly worried about the durability of the cable which can only be replaced under warranty but yes, would really recommend them.
I just bought the Sure ones that came on here a few weeks back. They are heavenly and way better than my untrained ear could appreciate.
But I see these (and similar from 'brands') and do wonder what Ted Baker knows about headphones /audio.

Fairly selective with their demo units (fashion blogs / gadget sites), one of them gave a positive review despite breaking the cable
At £31 though they're a great deal.

Great find. Mediocre headphones but for the price it's a bargain if one wants to make a fashion statement:)

Okay guys, I've been keeping an eye on these things for a little while. From what I gather from reading other people's posts, like me, they are extremely curious about them.
The RRP is obviously over inflated - but at this price (styling, practicalities regarding the wire aside) are we in good "sound per pound" territory?
I know that this is hard to quantify so my expectations are as follows. I eventually want to buy the Sony MDR-1A for general use, I don't expect these to be as good as the sony, but I'd like it to provide a bit of a stop gap and then become a backup pair that is on hand for convenience (whilst the Sony's live in a "go bag"), reducing wear etc. I currently use a sony wireless stereo headset (the original "cyberman" set) that is getting a bit long in the tooth and frustrates me at the lack of 3.5mm but I would describe as satisfactory at stereo sound. I have used a pair of Grado s60's before and like warm sounding headphones - but at this price I wouldn't be too picky.
The use case is not too demanding - I listen to MP3s, youtube vids (both for music and video), get my multimedia through plex, so obviously there is a ceiling on how good this material can sound.
What do you guys think - at this price would it suit this usage case and expectation. I hope this can help others as well as me

I presume I'm not the only person here with 3+ pairs of headphones and trying to make an excuse to buy these?

I've weighed up the following pros and cons so far;
+ Previous high price suggest they should feel premium
+ Decent reviews on the web
+ Stylish looking headphones
- I don't need another pair of headphones
Hmmm...

Would you buy a shirt or trousers made by Sony , Sennheiser or Grado I wonder? But yet it's some how acceptable to buy headphones from a clothes manufacturer and expect them to have great audio quality. Ain't gonna happen IMO.

Except that Sony clothing would probably be designed by someone like Ted Baker, Hugo boss etc and then have Sony labelling , same here I'm guessing they have the Ted Baker name and quality feel but the innards are likely to be from mid/high end audio manufacturer, as already said what the hell would Ted Baker know about audio , but to put their name on its likely to be half decent supplier.

I don't think anyone is expecting great SQ. These are closed back headphones. So some compromises are inevitable. And certainly not audiophile grade. But come on, for £30 they must be great value fashion accessory.
I really don't need another pair. But I'm seriously tempted to buy just out of curiosity

Mine were delivered about half hour ago. I'm no audiophile but The bass isn't great I expected more. These sound the same as my UE4000 which are on ear and cost me £14 on amazon. I also don't like the cable and the fact it has to plug in on both sides, Honestly if you have no headphones or own a very cheap pair and you're in the market then these are decent for the price. But if you already have an ok pair I'd leave these alone. I got a pair of UE6000 on eBay for £24 couple years back and they are better but use batteries for active noise cancelling and give you more bass. I will use them for the rest of the day before making a final decision whether to keep them, but I'm pretty sure these are going back. If I could go back in time I wouldn't buy but would still vote hot as it is still a decent deal, thanks OP

Thanks for the review. I decided a few days ago this would be another impulse and managed to resist. Reading your comment really helped know I made the right decision

Thanks for your comment. I also own a pair of UE6000 and was considering buying these out of curiosity. Glad I didn't now.
