I guess alternative form factor is m4/3 e.g. Olympus, canon... no idea how good they are since I'm an A6000 user myself since the NEX-5...

nope!
though you could get a 2nd hand sigma 19/30/60mm for round about that
the latter two which are very good lenses but not long zooms if thats what you are after

E Mount is one of the most expensive mounts for lenses given the variety available compared the others.
I had the first gen sigma primes 19mm and 30mm so you could get them second hand <£90 I'm sure.
Very good sharp lenses.
I now use 24mm zeiss and 18105G lens on my a6000.
Disappointed with the zeiss given the hype and price. Highly recommend the 18105G... Very nice lens. Shame about the flash being restricted due the barrel.

lea3 has no AF and takes this to a £200 'cheap' lens with all manual control
lea4 will give AF but takes it to a 300quid 'cheap' lens
would it give better results than sel55-210? dunno but will be bigger/heavier/more expensive

erm yes it will if you also buy either the laea3 or laea4. I would personally buy the 3

Awesome price, I have Tamron's 18-270mm lens with the PZD motor, absolutely my favorite all-rounder lens, it's fantastic. I use it with a Sony A65. Tempted by this cracking price.

There is no such thing as e to a mount. Sony has la-ea series of a to a mount adapter, not made by metabone either.
