Hi, I have been waiting forever for this to come down in price and finally it has, I know a lot of people are against these, but for this price you won't find anywhere else cheaper, quality brand. I have breakdown cover but most breakdown companies take a minimum of and hour to get to you even with home start, best time to get too with winter etc. this works, my friend has one, even if you don't use as jumpstarter ou can use as a power bank, win win

My worry about the reviews is that so many of the 5 stars given are from "reviewers" who have been given this product for free. I find it such a problem on Amazon now that I won't buy a product that is favourably biased in this way.

But the reviews are so totally unbiased and honest. You even get photos of the packaging, the dog, the parcel delivery truck driver and numerous other vitally important things. There really is no pleasing some people! :man:

True, and a lot of these jump starters come with thee 5* reviews, I am only buying because I have seen one in action a few times when my friend had to save me once when a faulty relay switch drained the battery

Was it this actual model? I have been tempted to get one for some time, but like I mentioned am put off by biased reviews. Have just seen a YouTube video of it, and once the reviewer switched it on, it did seem to work. You've almost convinced me!

I can only tell you from my experience with it which is a 2.0 diesel, but does say Upto 3.0 I think

I doubt it will at peak power of 400 amp most diesels struggle I cold weather and need at least 650cca to start urs probably more looking at description I think it's a bit false will start a car 15 times on 12000 mah battery I seriously doubt it at 400 amp peak rating seems a load of tosh but maybe it will start a battery slightly low u maybe better off getting g decent jump leads for a 10 and hopefully a decent person will help u start ur car if it doesn't start in the morning

True, I don't believe that too. Maybe max 3-4 jumps. Won't be sure until mine gets delivered. I've got a pair of jump leads bit sometimes 6am in the morning quite difficult to get a jump from rushing workers, don't like being dependant

Question - if it's too weak to actually jump start my car, will it still be able to at least charge the battery in 15-20 minutes enough for the car to start?

No they provide a short term high current for the jump start only they will not charge the battery as per a normal slow charge battery charger.There are a variety of models and prices going well over the hundred pound mark for larger engines and more options i.e.torch, laptops and usb outlets for mobiles etc
I've seen this start a 2.7l diesel Land Rover discovery with no problem, I didn't receive one for an unbiased review either I brought one

Totally depends on the state of the cars battery. The more discharged the cars battery is the bigger boost it's going to need. The biggest thing though is that usually totally discharging a lead acid battery means curtains for the battery.
