Just nipped into Game for a quick look and spied one of these controllers which are dirt cheap going for £12.59, figured it was real cheap and closest price I found was £28 with a case ... can't be bad at this price even for a spare.

Jeez, that's a decent price! I was tempted by the one with the case that was put up earlier, but this is even better. I'm tempted to take a trip and wade through the hell that is the Metro Centre at Christmas to try and grab this - do I dare?

I think you need to look up the definition of "sobbing" and the meaning of "throwing your toys out of the pram" before you go using them in conversation as you clearly have no idea what either means.

I didn't like this thing either, not for the type of games I play. Ended up selling it to CeX for £22

I sold it the day after I bought it dude. Made about a £15 loss too, so not my best bit of business!
I've gone through dozens of PC controllers, both wired and wireless, and personally my favourite is the GameSir G3s Wireless which you can get on Amazon for around £30. And no, if somebody makes a somewhat tongue in cheek comment about not wanting to receive it for free I most certainly won't be getting so butt-hurt...

I can't be doing with the Internet Twiddle Twaddle discussion (can you imagine such a conversation in real life?) - however, would you care to sell your barely used Controller? I've just got a Steam Link for the summerhouse and I'm looking for a controller
No harm in asking ...

Are you for real? I mean I've seemed to upset your feelings so much I'm starting to wonder if yourself or a family member works for Steam or something. I bought the controller, used it for about 12 hours which in my humble opinion is more than enough for myself to come to the conclusion that it was terrible. Considering how much I stupidly (isn't hindsight a wonderful thing?) paid for it and the price listed here, it's a very good price, but that doesn't make the controller any good whatsoever, again in my opinion.

So you've barely used it (as expected)? Just like most of the people who ignorantly slam it. Look, I don't actually care whether you like it or not. Really I don't. What I don't want is people being put off it by comments like yours. People who might actually really appreciate it, like you didn't. Surprisingly, it's not completely shocking, it's just that you decided very quickly that you didn't like it and didn't want to invest the time in learning how to use it. That's fine. It's completely your prerogative. It's just that your criticism is very hollow because of it.
I guess I'll just have to struggle on through the anguish.

It most certainly is. But the way you clearly threw your toys out of your pram because I think your controller is absolutely rubbish was a little bit cringe-worthy.

Maybe if you had one given to you, you'd put the effort into finding out that it's actually a pretty great controller.

Well I'm a mug. I battled the Metro Centre and lost part of my soul only to find that they didn't have any controllers in stock - though did have cases, dongles and battery covers all (i think) at £12.59.
Because I'm even more of a mug, I thought it'd be a great idea to endure even more Christmas shopping chaos and drove to the second level of hell that is the Galleries at Washington, where, Steam controllers are £39.99.
Yay!
Well done OP, you got a bargain, but I doubt anyone else will be getting one at that price.

Bargain if you manage to get one of these. Best controller for first and third person shooters on PC by far. Although for anything where you use a dpad i find the DS4 better.

Misprice. And it's a cheap piece of tat anyway. Probably worth this much. For full price you're much better off buying DS4 or Xbox S bt controller

This is definitely a misprice, that's the price of the case in my local Game. I just bought a controller yesterday for £27.99.
