Most albums from the 80's onwards will have an element of 'remastering' The Star Wars Album has probably been enhanced at some point in the process. There are only a few vinyl pressing companies around now and they are struggling with output and quality. From a purely enjoyment factor I would listen to Led Zep, The Stones, John Coltrane etc - rather than Star Wars Dah-Dah-D- Dah -Dah-D Dah. But the artwork is nice.
I wonder what a original 70's pressing of the Stones album in mint condition would be ?

I'm not an expert but if its still from the original source does that necessarily mean it's a lower fidelity?
