yes you can, the factthat its 34 pieces is bcos 20 of them are cheap nasty drill driver bits that will break if you try to screw anything into anything harder than mdf

I do agree but have a time machine to go back and buy at that price??
Stanley is trash. I had a set of Fatmax drivers... One cracked tip another pozi tip was mis hit when forged and couldn't fit into a screw head! Asked Stanley customer service who didn't want to know.

The old "time machine comment"....
Good deal but not a great deal if it's been cheaper elsewhere in the not too distant past!

It's a real shame Stanley stuff used to be brilliant. I've got screwdrivers my dad bought in the 80s that are still going strong. Stuff these days is cheap Chinese or Indian manufactured junk. Even their ratchet screw driver is worse now. I bought one about 10 years ago which is still going strong. Bought a new one this year which broke first use. When I compared them they were miles apart in terms of build quality. I've moved to Bahco tools now.

ehm, you mean the carbon steel / single use driver bits which you must sometimes throw away in the middle of the first use? anyway, the actual screwdrivers are OK

So are these at Robert dyas deal better quality? Because I couldn't find anywhere on the listing what their driver bits are made from?

nah, the bits are thrown in to make up the numbers, they are cheap and nasty, unlike the screwdrivers!
