This time next year *2018 Rodney we'll have a Sony OLED for that price - not a 12" one but the 65"

Hopefully by this time next year the current LG OLED models will be closer to this price! They're slowly dropping.

Silly question does "Playstation Now" mean it has built in Playstation into the TV?

Yeah, you just need a controller connected via Bluetooth (like the Dualshock 4).
PlayStation Now is like Netflix for PS3 games. You pay 12.99 a month and have access to a decent collection of PS3 games streamed over your network.
I would strongly advise that you have the TV connected via ethernet rather than WiFi to have a playable experience.

I'm not an elitist, but is this TV actually worth the money?

I bought this tv on Boxing Day, been back into currys today and theyve refunded me the £50 back due to their 7 day price promise. An excellent tv although not watched a lot on it as my husband and son seem to have hogged it playing Fifa 17!

Thanks OP. Just bought this for my wife's parents as they've been on the lookout for a new tv ever since they saw my 55" Sony 9 series. Now I'm going to be jealous!

I have a 49" Sony android 4k tv and it's rubbish. So slow and unresponsive. When I turn it off the sound continues for about 10 seconds. It takes ages to start up

What are you comparing this to? Do you have some examples of similar TVs (size and price) which are better? I can always cancel this one and get another instead.

Problem with these SOny/AnnDroid TVs is that you can have Youview enabled OR you can have USB HDD recording ... For some reason SOny makes it an either/or decision ??
Youview is good but I prefer HDD recording ... YOuView is run as an APP integrated into the TV. 1 days use so far

How is the picture quality comparatively and viewing angles?
Playstation now is buggy with a limited number of multi player games available. Rip off imho especially if you are already paying for ps+

It tracked with Quidco but at £86.74 based on purchase amount of £867.36. Would expect this to be corrected as this wasn't the pre VAT price, this assuming the cash back actually got paid given the use of the £50 off code.
However I've since cancelled my order. Not happy with many reviews which reference poor blacks and contrast with the IPS panel. I'm now looking at some Samsung and LG TVs, although these are more around the £1600-£2000 price. Better to get the best you can afford rather than regretting the performance of a bargain price purchase. That's just me, but I'm pretty picky when it comes to stuff like this.

Picture quality is great, but viewing angles I have no experience, as I am the only one who watches it in a small room, head-on .Vlc installed, Kodi installed , still getting used to it .+(my tv is an older, smaller version)
