Most who have owned a ps4 for over 12 months will agree 500gb becomes limiting after a while. End up wishing for more memory or upgrade hard drive manually

Are these a lot quieter than PS3?
Got a couple of them but only really use to watch BR and TV services. Also do they play all formats cos mine seem to baulk at some - when my cheap android device plays anything you can throw at it? Cheers

I got the new slim chassis which is supposedly quieter
But in comparison to my PS3 this is a lot louder in terms of fan noise and disc whirring noise
I have the cech2503a 160gb so it was a newish PS3 but way quieter
Can't speak for all formats. It does play blu ray and all audio cds I have tried fine

But agreed; if you're a gamer 2TB minimum. I'm surprised they bought the pro out with 1TB. Surely 4K games are gonna be larger files!!
