If it's anything like mine, I ordered on Friday, received an order confirmation saying I would get an email when it's in store. At 12pm Saturday according to the website it would be available, still no email. I went down at 2 pm without confirmation it arrived and it was there. Then at about 7pm that night I get an email saying it's ready to collect.

They must be having issues with their email system.

Just tested out all the products. Happy with most if it. Really like the face wash. I am not sure about the body milk it goes on lovely and my skin feels nice but i cant help but think i smell like a foot. :confused:

They had loads of these on Friday when I was in Boots at the Gyle, Edinburgh. No one seemed that bothered by the massive display of them. I personally think it's overpriced although it does look good and VERY tempting, I wouldn't use half the stuff in it. Bring it down to £20 then I would be not just tempted but would actually purchase one or two...

In mine, they certainly did and in others they just had nothing but the Online one and in others they had the Original one at £60 and the Online one at £30!! It gets very confusing. I bought one for myself online and I'm very happy with it - I'm sure your wife will be thrilled with you on Christmas Morning! :smile:

It was definitely the one pictured online in Kenilworth. It's a picture made up of loads of smaller pics and looks pretty cool.. I think my little girl will love it.

Got two from the Boots on Talisman Square in Kenilworth. Absolutely shed loads left but the cashier said they were flying off the shelves very quickly, she was worried that they would be all gone by 5:30pm as she wanted one herself.

Case is actually pretty solid as it's made of metal, got it for my 12 year old daughter and 11 year old neice... think they willl love it.

You never know - if you're out shopping tomorrow and pass a Boots, see if they have any left instore. If so, buy one and don't collect the other one. At least your wife is going to have one this Christmas and I doubt she'll mind which case she gets as it's a lovely present anyway! :smiley:

Yep and usually with a branded 'designer' bag except it's nothing like the quality of the designer's actual products and has been made in China for a quid. The bags and useless flannels etc let them push up the price a lot more. A simple box with lots of nice moisturiser, shower gels, shaving products, would be better.

How much is Martin Lewis getting to advertise Soap & Glory this morning on Good Morning Britain, this year they even gave him the product to show off to everyone, sales must have really been down last year.

It's definitely going to be tomorrow - it's actually a lovely looking set in the flesh and will probably be a bit more popular this year than last!! Last year's was unpopular because there were only 9 products and it was mostly the products that had been around for years nothing new or exciting so they've tried to make it more interesting this year and back up to 10 products and it seems to have gotten people's attention again!! Last year was the first year since it started that I haven't bought it myself but I'm gonna have this year's one for sure so have some heat!!! :smile:

I never knew what the hype was over Soap and glory but since receiving about 5 years ago I haven't used another brand, long lasting products great smells and silky soft. I have sensitive skin and never had a problem with them

The problem with S&G is, its made by BOOTS and exclusive to boots to can't compare prices. £25 is about right. £60 way too pricey,

i expect the days of waiting up all night until the boots website has stopped crashing to buy one of these are long gone? if so, ill walk in store and pick one of these up. seem to remember last years being hard to sell out.

It will be 70% off eventually, three or four weeks after the Boxing Day sales. Can't remember exactly which week, but the 70% usually falls on a Wednesday if I can remember correctly. I've still got loads of soap and glory stuff, I gave away 75% of it before using any of it myself.

Best example ever of style over substance. The make up is nowhere near as good as some of the great budget brands around just now such as MUA and Makeup Revolution. S&G has had its day I think.

Got there about 2 hours after opening last year with all the other husbands buying them for their wives and they had mountains of them left all over the store, went back in days later and they were still there, so don't think they are as popular as they used to be.

I work out that taking into account the usual 3for2 and buy 1 get 1 half price offers that this still contains products worth a total of £63....... so seems like a good deal to me!

Don't they do this every year? You think they could just be honest and sell it at the average price of £30.

I think I would pay £20 for it, but £30 is too much in my opinion.

I can see how it would be a good option if it was 16:00 on Christmas Eve and you just want something that looks the part.

Might get one. Been a while since I had soap and glory. Only had tiny little sample sizes before so never really had a chance to properly try it out. Cant be that bad as it seems to sell well every year.
