Never had a year like this when prices have been slashed 10 days or so before Christmas. In last few years I have got a lot on Argos 3 for 2, but this year Tesco has been amazing! Pretty much everything has come from Tesco (online on 3 for 2's or instore bargains like Snuggles!)

I think next year I'll be leaving my daughters present shopping until the week before, well for the stuff that isn't as popular. How gutted must some folk be that have paid full price for stuff weeks ago. I used to always shop in Asda Robroyston but I switched to Tesco over 2 years ago and much prefer it because at least they have more stock and they seem to have better offers on the stuff I buy, clubcard and scan to shop are other big pluses.

I no doubt passed him 10 times as I was in that shop for about 2 hours at least! Got a lot of bargains though! Its amazing a lot of folk I met in there didnt realise you got 1/3 off toy prices at the till!!

Yay :smiley: great you got one too. My oh was there just after 1.30pm so you would have been in the store at the same time. When he got there the one that had been put aside had been taken the guy thought but luckily he did manage to find another one, I wonder if that's the one you got hehe. He said the dog was barking in the boot lol.

Thats great! I had read your post earlier and DID ask when in Tesco at 1.30pm this afternoon and got one! The guy said it was the last one in the store. I was not coming on to gloat (honestly!)

They must be really needing the space in all stores and that's why there is such big discounts on the toys before Christmas. I don't remember it being this good last year. Most toys rrp are ridiculous anyway but as they say "every little helps" I have got so many bargains throughout the year from that store, a lot of them from deals posted on here. Thanks again and have a lovely Christmas x

Brilliant!! They do often keep stock in back particularly of the larger boxes, I have had to ask plenty of times if they have stuff in back and they have came through quite a good few times, when I was in last night they were doing their best to refill the shelves but I do imagine it is crazy in their stock room just now.

Well he got one :smiley: turns out he did ask this morning. The staff member said it was showing as 6 in stock (at the time) and that they were probably out the back but it's a bit chaotic out there. She said she would look for it and keep one back and call him which she did. Great customer service. Thanks Mandz :smile:

He said he was going to as I asked him but at the time he couldn't see anyone around to ask so not sure if he did.

Did they ask if there was anymore in back? St Rollox generally only put a few of the larger toys on the shelf and restock as they're depleted.

Yeah my other half popped in on the way to work earlier and all gone :disappointed:
