A lot of the Nintendo inhouse games have been excellent and still more coming out which is great. Wiiu for us has been worth every penny. A lot of pet hate for the WiiU on every deal. End of the day - If you aren't into Nintendo games why are you bothered? Plenty of other games to play on your console of choice

I agree completely with you. Such a shame as Nintendo make great games. I'll just stick with my Wii U backlog. Don't think I'd buy Nintendo again.

very disappointed,they haven't learn a thing.
It's Wii U all over again with more Wii flavour added to it.
for the first time,I'm confident to say I have zero interest in a Nintendo condole and won't be buying it.

Went for it today, glad I did. Only one copy left at Oldbury now.
I had this on the Wii when it was released, but never finished it due to disliking the controls, regretted not getting the GameCube version, but now I can use the gamepad.

Exactly. Since the Wii, and before really, a classic combination has been Nintendo + PC.
A decent PC setup will have far more power and better graphics than Playstation or Xbox, which obviously age.
And a keyboard and mouse is far better for strategy games and FPSs.
And now VR is an option - which is even better for FPSs if you're into that - which the Wii/Wii U do to an extent with the wii mote.
So PC gamers can equally look down on those with a Playstation or XBox (and many do). They're in many ways relatively underpowered and inferior systems.
People complaining about Ninty console power don't get it. Ninty intentionally make lower powered consoles so they're more affordable - can be bought by parents for their kids etc, and because the type of games they make don't require heavy processing power - they don't make simulation games.
An affordable family/multi player friendly console on one hand, and a PC for "hardcore" and indy gaming on the other is a great combination.
Buying an FPS through steam etc for PC results in a cheaper game, that you can control better, with more power and better graphics.
And for multiplayer and fun you can't beat Ninty. I'll be getting the Wii U out this Christmas for some Nintendo land, Wario ware and other shenanigans. The whole family (including several total non gamers) can play and enjoy that. The pictionary game alone is great fun.
Will be adding Guitar Hero to that this year thanks to the Toys R Us deal.
And will add this crazily good deal to the collection, thanks OP.
You get a soundtrack CD, nice looking Amiibo, and the game for £25.
I hope they do a Skyward sword remaster.
Looking forward to loads more Zelda stuff as part of the 30th anniversary.

Act as very expensive DLC, usually unlocking costumes or small sections of a game. I think this one unlocks a dungeon, but mostly, if you don't want to collect them, you can just ignore them. They are still, in my opinion, a really bad way to implement extras in games for the average consumer.

They quite clearly said it was their preferred console so the 'who' is self evident. I also know a section of the gaming community where it is preferred, a good chunk of PC gamers (including me) would rank it as their favourite console this generation since it gives a more varied experience from the other consoles when compared to the PC. Despite its lack of games it still has more enticing exclusives than the PS4 or the Xbox One.

The WiiU was released over 4 years ago - it's been fine and a lot of people are happy with it - especially the Nintendo game fans. For my kids (and me) it's been excellent and still is and gets a lot of play time. The tablet controller has been the best part - the kids have played their games effectively on a large and light handheld regularly away from the TV or just watched Netflix on it. It's all horses for courses.
There's little doubt new Nintendo games will come out for their new console, no denying that at all - but when the dust has settled ill personally remember the WiiU and the armful of great games I enjoyed on it.
Related to this deal - its a great price, hot and enjoy

again I said it's a rumor,I don't care either way, because luckily I got rid of my Wii U for a good price and that money will be used towards buying a Switch.so i will play the superior version of the new Zelda anyway.+ their new games.it's just 3 months left.and Switch is apparently going to be £200 that's cheaper than what they ask for the Wii U.
I'm overal optimistic about the switch because it seems Nintendo themselves want to distance as much s possible from the horrible Wii U and even Wii.
so chances are this new console actually has some potential and some decent horsepower unlike the Wii U which was 10 years late when launched and they tried to rely on a gimmick (bulky, awkward low resolution tablet controller that eventually killed the console).
I know it has a handful of great games, but they all could have been better on a good capable, gimmick free system.none of those few great games is good because of Wii U hardware specifically if you know what I mean.if Wii U was a great console, it wouldn't sell so poorly and Nintendo wouldn't ditch and bury it at this point.simple.

We love our WII U, glad you believe everything on a forum and Utube is true and correct! I have seen people trying very hard to even get used consoles if they cant get new in the shops. Not everyone is the same so each to their own but we are still buying WII U games.

Japanese website Koji is reporting that Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been cancelled for the Wii U due to "Technical Issues"

Nintendo are just a frustrating company for me, they have produced nothing but second rate hardware since the N64 and are still doing it now with the switch, it's got last gen hardware,.
Wish they would throw in the very best hardware available and make one great console, instead of the cheapest they can get away with, they just rely on gimmicks.
Surely people would pay the extra cost for the better hardware?
The Switch should have the very latest graphic hardware, not last gen! should also be backwards compatible with Wii-U at the very least! they gave up on it far too quickly! as per normal! and would have been amazing if it also supported N64 carts, Dreamcast games. Imagine the buzz that would have created! They could have charged £500+ for that easy. But no.... get your wallets out again to rebuy every game you owned before.
Ah well, i guess i will have to wait another 4 years until they ditch the switch and announce another new console, maybe then... just maybe
Nintendo treating you all like mugs
Another console i will be avoiding and watching fail!

expect more price drops.
obviously Wii U was a disaster of a console and now officially dead.
it's not like sought after Nintendo consoles where games hold value.
no one wants it.
so these games don't sell and there is a huge unsold stock out there.major price drops for games are inevitable.
there is is four that they even cancelled Breath of Wild for Wii U and its now exclusively Switch, due to limitations of Wii U hardware.
