I'VE BOUGHT LOADS OF THIS BEFORE AND MY MULTI FUEL BURNER IS ROASTING USING THIS,!!
Don't know what others have done, but if you get a good layer of glowing embers down first from your wood, then put this on (don't smother too much) and then turn up the air draw underneath slightly to start, it is glowing in no time, and then you can turn the air flow down again. Had mine stay hot overnight using this stuff. Would recommend it fully.

Bought this coal last year and it was so-so, however 9 months later fully dried out, what a difference! The moral of the story is the drier the fuel, be it wood/coal the hotter the fire.
