I've had a simple human bin for a few years now and it's wearing really well. The only negative thing I would say is that the chrome bit on the lid is a 'painted' chrome. So as we have cleaned it over time we've had it, it looks a bit faded. Good deal though OP. Think we paid about £40 for our slightly larger one. Heat

Don't get their bags, expensive. Tesco 50l bags fit with a little stretch, which is good in a sort of way as they don't slip from the rim. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=250191211
