I complained to Argos. They insist that it is 2GB RAM and that my chipset is defective. They want me to pick up another handset at another town and will reimburse my travel expenses @ 25p/ mile. I think they got their specs and reviews mixed up with the G4 plus. I'm not taking any chances, back it goes. Any suggestions for a replacement in the same price range?

Ridiculously cheap for this phone!! I'll use the money I save buying this to have all my trouser pockets made larger so it can fit in them!! 5.5" screen.... should have a remote control and sit in the lounge

Got the phone from Argos. Checked. RAM is 1GB instead of 2GB as mentioned in the Argos Technical Specs. But the ROM is 16GB. Certainly returning back to Argos as not meeting the tech specs as advertised.

The UK version of this phone is 16GB storage and 1GB of RAM. It does have NFC however for Android pay

Argos lists it as 16 GB of memory and 2GB of RAM. My understanding is that the 8GB version has 1GB RAM. For this price, a new phone would only carry 8GB memory. The closest competitor is the Lenovo K 500 which is a rebranded Chinese phone.

Damn. If it weren't for the fact it only has 16gb on board, and only an 8mp shooter, and only 720p display, and not front facing speakers, I'd have definitely gone for this.
