I've had one of these for a couple of years now . The sealing is a bit hit and miss so I'm not sure how good it would be for sous vide . It is brilliant though for the freezer . I can buy big packs of stuff and break them down into handy portions and because they are vacuum packed they take up much less space and don't get freezer burn . I may well upgrade my old dated one at this price . It's one of the kitchen gadgets which has not been consigned to the back of the cupboard

This will look great in my kitchen. In that big dark cupboard right next to the bread maker, ice cream maker and popcorn machine.
