I have a theory that Shepherd Neame knock out the same 3.8% beer but just change the label throughout the year.
This is a good opportunity to try that theory out at just 99p a bottle. Cheers!

I thought the IPA was about 6%. Mostly really nice range.

Yes SN do a 6% version which is available in the 4 for £5 from ASDA - definitely worth the extra 25p!. If you want a reasonable IPA in Lidl, try Hatherwood The Green Gecko (5%, £1.25)

It's not a theory, it's a fact. Save the 99p and put it towards some decent IPA and not this bog water.

The cheap ones at lidl have Brewers Choice on the neck and seem to me to be poor in comparison to others like Bishops Finger and IPA. As mentioned above the ones in the 4 for £5 at Asda are good value and the offer includes lots of other beers too-Butty Bach and Wye valley HPA are 2 of my favourites at the moment

Does anyone know whether Youngs Christmas Pudding Ale is available again? This was without doubt the best Christmas beer I've ever had. Also, what's the Shepherd Neame Christmas Ale like and where can I get it?
