I bought a 43" sharp from tesco for £215 and set it up on christmas eve. It was on the site as a non smart model but when i set it up it is aqous net+ model. It has a few pre installed apps but i can't get an app for Netflix does anyone know how. I would really be grateful for any help.

Just don't be under the illusion you are buying a Japanese made Sharp TV. UMC make Sharp TV's in europe under license. The same company churn out supermarket specials like Technika and Blaupunkt.

Yes, but unlike Technika and the rest, sharp is still involved in the design and development of its TVs with UMC. Infact most of Sharp TV s are manufactured from the same plant in poland which used to manufacture sharp prior to going into production agreement with UMC. So its NEVER like sharp badge being put on Technika or one of those brands.
