Hardly any apps available on this 'smart' TV. I've got the 49" equivalent and it sucks a bit.
Still, good price, just don't expect too much.

To be honest with you, I did not know people still used smart TVs for Thier "smart" functions...

No it is not. It's a Vestel or UMC, not in the same league as Hisense (Hisense are much better quality).

We wish, would be all over it if it was hisense. These really are bottom of the barrel sets

worst tv u could buy, bought it 4 months ago at £240 from sainsburys. returned it the following couple days. due to tv freezing. remote control was having a delay when changing channels. wouldn't connect to wifi. apps are rubbish. in the end I paid extra and bought a Sammy. which in fact dropped 100 quid after 2 months. I would put a extra 90quid and get the eu40ku6000 samsung model. it's 4k picture and apps are brilliant.

you're right. I thought they sold the licence to hisense but it was umc. vestel are for white goods though, not tv's

Vestel, together with its subsidiary brands has a significant share in the European market of consumer electronics and home appliances, in particular TV sets.
Or, you could guess what vestel produce, I prefer Google.

"The same month, Sharp also announced a tie-up with Vestel in Europe for white goods. Vestel will sell Sharp-branded white goods (except air conditioners), such as refrigerators and microwave ovens manufactured by Sharp in Thailand and China." I thought we were talking about Sharp? this is from Google, based on sharp branded goods. You could just guess, I prefer to use Google.

"vestel are for white goods though, not tv's" - my reply was to this. What was I guessing?

I thought we were talking about Sharp branded goods? Vestel provide the white goods, umc provide the TV sets. You lost all relevance to Sharp. I didn't say that Vestel don't produce tv's, they don't produce Sharp branded Tv's. This is about Sharp Tv's is it not?

I get it, I was supposed to know from this "you're right. I thought they sold the licence to hisense but it was umc. vestel are for white goods though, not tv's"
that you were referring to Sharp? Obvious now!

No you were supposed to know from the op that it was all about Sharp Tv's. what else would it be about? are you serious?

Really? I thought it was about Hisense, maybe UMC or possibly Vestel. Seemed much less likely to be about Sharp TVs as they don't exist, they stopped making TVs years ago, keep up. :stuck_out_tongue:

As we have established UMC are making them. That is what this post is about. Now go away you boring little man.
