Much hotter than the !0% off a few days ago. Bloody hell I bought 2 then as pressies. Not sure why people are knocking this. Seiko and Bulova have decent japanese movements to the best of my knowledge. Rotary now mass produced in China, they still look good tho. The rest are ok. They will all tell the time far longer than those dodgy fakes people pick up in the Far East. Heat from me.

nice looking watch with the seiko name, however the strap is very cheap with hollow links. for this reason, i would avoid even at £45.

Craftsmanship for one. Or do you think all watches are created equally?

Not all that much craftsman in modern watches. If you opened a range of cheap to expensive watches, you'd be surprised to find how similar, if not identical, the internal workings are.
Stainless steel bodies are bashed out by machines, many under contract from the far east. What you're paying for in many more expensive watches is advertising, marketing and image.

Seiko don't normally make cheap tat. So I'm a bit suspicious. Why is it this price?

Why would you think £44.99 for a stainless steel watch cheap? What's in a watch that justifies a higher price other than brand mark up?

Its the 25% discount that makes it this cheap.....
Seiko's entry level watches, such as this are usually around £60/70..... you dont get stuff like lume or Hardlex glass that is usually on their more expensive watches.
It still has Seiko build quality though..... its a good deal at £45.
