Just carefully remove the case and the 3TB Seagate 2.5 inch hard drive can indeed be installed inside a PS4. :sunglasses: #PS4 #UPGRADE

No worries... This is an excellent price for a 3TB upgrade for your PS4. Normally you'd have to pay around this much money for a 2TB. ***Heat Added from me on this Deal***

1. Lol at you PS4 users, plug and play ..... (although hopefully no too hard to do)
2. Bought a 3.5" 4tb hard drive for £85 from Argos a few months ago not sure how this is a deal?

1. PS4s can only take 9.5mm thick drives and cannot use external drives so it's not as simple as "plug and play."
2. Prices from a few months ago ≠ prices now and prices of 3.5" drives ≠ prices of 2.5" drives.

It can actually confirm it is too thick (about 1.5mm) for both a standard and Pro PS4.

19 Dec 161#17
I can confirm that the harddrive will not fit in a standard or Pro PS4 console. The internal 2.5 drive has a slightly thicker profile than standard 2.5 drives (approx 1.5mm thicker). This also prevents use in a few laptops so beware.
