can someone who knows more about TVs than me (which isn't hard) help me out with some pointers?
Looking to upgrade from my 36" Sony tv which is quite old and 1080i to a better 1080p 40" screen. Mostly use it for PS4 (not pro) and netflix so don't think I need 4k. I figured there'd be loads of big price drops and eBay bargains once everyone got 4Ks for Xmas/Jan sales but I don't really know what set I should be looking for. Don't mind spending a bit more money if there will be a noticeable difference in picture quality, but equally if I'll do almost as well with a refurb £110 set as I will with a £350 new one then I'll save my money. All help appreciated!

It's a good screen. I use one as a desktop PC monitor and it's excellent.
Don't go in thinking it can do HDR, because it can't.

This is exactly what I'm looking for, a large 4k PC monitor with decent input lag. Is HDR a benefit at all to using this as a monitor?

how do you find it for pc monitor? I was wanting to go for this for the same reason, but thought it might be a bit big for the desk?

If everyone is looking for 100 htz then it will be a lot more expensive.
People want more than they actually need without knowing why!

I can easily tell the difference between a 100hz set and 50/60hz.

Refresh rate is only 60Hz. Looking for 100Hz minimum.

Good luck finding a TV (especially for this price) with true 100Hz. They're all simulated.

Received mine this morning at 8am. Fantastic service from the CoOp. Set up and had a play around.
This TV is a massive step up from my 32inch 1080P Samsung set. PS4 pro upscale to 4k and Hdr (partial 8 bit yes) makes a difference with colours etc.
My only gripe and may be user error is the HDMI ports. Only HDMI 1 supports HDR. Frustrating as the menu to switch it on shows all 3 HDMI supporting it but 2 and 3 are greyed out.

I would love a 40-inch TV with 'proper' HDR for desktop gaming but unfortunately such a thing doesn't exist. The KU6400 does support a wider colour gamut so there should be some benefit in the fullness of time but I'm not seeing it at the moment!

Hey. Do you you mean ku6020, the Currys exclusive? If so that's the equivalent to the 6000. There's small differences.
If there is a hu6020 I'd buy that as I don't need the tv tuner.
Thanks
